Dokio 300W Portable Panels
The media could not be loaded. ****Update 4/30/24I requested a replacement. Amazon sent me new panels. The seller also reached out to me. Panels were delivered the next day and so far they work great. They charge my Lifep04 100Ah battery and I can run the camper AC on a sunny day with no problem while keeping the battery charged.Update****Solar panel burned after the second time charging a 12V LifeP04 battery 100AH and a 2500W load....See last picture. I ordered a replacement will update when I get it and see how long it lasts...************Not bad, they are easy to move around. No back legs to hold them upright. No holes to hang them from a wall. The Controller is not the best, but a better one to take advantage of the panels.Tested them for an hour, battery went from 11.9 to 12.6 V within 30 minutes on a cloudy day. I haven't tested this panel fully yet. Not bad for the price I paid. The connections are simple, however I had a reverse polarity within the system and I had to switch my battery cables in order to make it work. No a good thing that's why they send you an adapter. Quality seems good, they are flexible however don't bend them to much or they will crack. Cables are short, order extra cables....

Powering Up My Pop-Up Trailer with Solar Energy
I gotta tell you, I decided to level up my pop-up trailer game by adding two 6v golf cart batteries and a solar panel. So, picture this: I slap the panel on the roof before popping up the trailer, and bam! It's like magic - all hooked up to my batteries and ready to roll. Let me just say, it's been about four days since I've been using this setup, and let me tell you, it's working like a charm. Plus, a sweet bonus is that it charges my Jackery like a boss. Totally worth it, highly recommend!

1.5 year update
UPDATE! My original review follows. I am pretty happy with this solar setup. I am NOT into comparing specs or having the latest and greatest, etc.. I have owned this setup for over 1.5 years and use to power my 26 foot trailer with 2 cheap Walmart 70ah batts. I use the toy-like controller included. I camp pretty frequently and would say I've used the panels for 3 months combined days. I am ok with the setup as it is affordable, flexible, easy. My past 45 lb setup with hard frame got to be a chore. These charge my batts within a couple hours in good sunI recharge daily. Panels could use an uptick on ruggedness. And grommets, attachment points so you can hold them in place. Laying on ground is often dirty/dusty, standing flexible panels in wind, not so good. You can build a frame, I just haven't. If you're looking to spend little and want decent capability, these are worth a try. If they last me another 1.5 years (for a total of 3) $300 bucks total, not bad. I think they will last longer if cared for.Original review. Just bought this and used for three days. Delivered as expected. Safe packaging. The panels seem of good quality, though I can see what others have mentioned about possibility of material holding panels breaking down. The photos in the advertising are misleading: these panels will NOT stand up flat like that without considerable support behind them. Support you will pay another $50 to $100 to build (unless you're very crafty) They bend very easily and care is necessary. I plan to take this inside during inclement weather, even wind. I have 2 cheap lead acid batteries that had run out of power the night before due to furnace use in cold weather. These panels charged those batteries fast, and my heat lasted through the night next night. I had a hard framed heavy Zamp 200 watt suitcase a few years ago and to compare I'd say this was considerably faster. I don't measure amps, all that stuff. I want to plug it in and get back to what I'm doing for fun. And there's my single largest disappointment with this package... oddly, Dokio failed to include a cable with the XT60 connector for their controller and an SAE connector for the port on the side of probably 3 million travel trailers out there, like mine. I'm no pro, and so maybe I am missing something... but who wants to take their battery covers off and clamp the controller to the battery each time they want to charge (often more than once a day...)? I really want that cable, say 10 to 12 feet in length, to make this easier for my style of use. The PWM controller that came with this unit is pretty fragile looking too, but it seems to work and I wanted to use the kit as is for awhile. Anyway, for the money, this kit is a go, so far. I hope it lasts a few years.

Terrible performance and falling apart after 6 months. Find a better option.
Performance:I bought 2 of these for temporary use on my sailboat. The idea was that I could normally keep them stowed and set them up when at anchor to help keep my batteries charged. I've used them for about 6 months now and I can definitively say they are terrible. The absolute maximum power I have ever seen them produce in any sun condition is about 50-55% of what they are advertised at. The normal amount with no shading and pointing at the sun is about 42% or 125 watts. I didn't expect these to fully live up to the 300 watts they are advertised at but this is pathetic. I have other panels that will produce as much actual power as these will that are MUCH smaller.Convenience:The fold up design of these panels is the primary convenience factor that I bought them for. They do fold up and stow away as I needed them to. Having said that, they are pretty large even when folded up.These panels have no holes for tying them down or securing them in any way. They are rather difficult to secure easliy. This is a real pain for a portable panel.Durability:These panels are semi-flexible and seem to be relatively tough. They have survived being blown over a number of times due to the lack of securing points. I was concerned they would be damaged but their power output is no more abysmal than it was when they were brand new.The weathering of the fabric that holds these panels together is really bad. You would think that fabric that makes up the frame of a solar panel would be UV resistant. I assure you that it is not. These panels showed significant degradation after the first couple months of use. They still look new on the back but are falling apart on the side that faces the sun.The 12V plug that attaches to the panel is not color coded or marked in any way which makes it easy to connect it backwards.I spent a considerable amount on my two panels and I am very disappointed in them. They both perform exactly the same so I don't think this is a case of a defective panel. I wish I had bought different panels.
