I love this product. My hair is maybe 4b-4c. I’m really not sure but this product actually works itself into my hair instead of just sitting on top of it. It leaves my hair super soft and it’s okay to use on my scalp. A lot of people complain about the smell, and I only gave a 4 because I do have other scents in products I prefer. I actually use a lot of essential oils and the main note is lemongrass which I actually quite like. I wouldn’t change anything about it if I could, but mind you, I purchased this product because it contained ingredients I knew my hair loved.

I'm a huge fan of all Carol’s Daughter hair products, so I use several of their hair products, this hair butter has a weird smell! But LOVE how it makes my hair soft n manageable, even a week after using it.

Carol's Daughter products are all great, but this hairdress cream promotes recovery of damaged hair.

Really like that it keeps my hair feeling soft. The smell isn't intolerable, but its not great either. I would consider buying it again

Honestly I have low porosity hair and I really needed to get a product that helps to nourish my hair. This products does just that !! ( my hair is relaxed)I love it and it’s thick but when you rub it in your palms it melts right away. 😍My hair only needs to be moisturized after three days. ( well this is me speaking about being at home with my bonnet on )Maybe I can give an update tomo when I go on the road.My hair feels soft and easy to Detangle.Update: went on the road in humid temperature for more than 8 hours and I am writing this update a day after ANDDDD my hair is still moisturized! I love it

I love Carol's daughter products. I cannot find this one in the stores, so ordered here. Using on a relative's hair that is in a nursing home. Great for the dry indoor heat in winter months, to keep hair moisturized. Not oily, just a nice deep creamy moisturizer that lasts a number of days, which is the reason I get this. A little goes a long way. Hair is smooth and not frizzy. Smells good. Like the ingredients. A lighter touch to use with this is the Carol's Daughter hair milk.

This product feels great on the ends of my hair. Its lightweight, silky, and shiney leaving my hair moisturized and healthy looking. However, it creates a really uncomfortable mentholatum sensation on my scalp. It feels like I put Vic's Vapor Rub on my scalp! Also, I don't care for the really strong scent. I have no choice but to return it.

A little goes a long way! Great for dry weather, after styling your hair, placing on the ends. If you like the creamy texture rather than oil, this is great! The tub of this for this price is such a great deal! This will last you a year if used sparingly. My hair needed a pick me up in the morning or after a blowout, just a dime size of this stuff and it makes your hair look and smell amazing. Don't place on scalp on days you don't wash your hair, it does contain a lot of oil. Plus, this is a super healthy alternative for pregnant mamas!

I love this product for my 4b/4c hair! I havr been purchasing this product for five years now.

I love all of the Carol's daughter products I have used. This product however is new to me. I makes my hair feel good but it does not smell as good as the other hairdress products I have used.
