The Hawaiian Leiomano, or warrior club was a fiercely effective weapon adorned with sharks teeth that would easily slash enemies with efficiency. The Hawaiian warrior class was highly skilled combat fighters that were trained in small units. These "special forces" trained in pā lua (schools in the art of breaking bones). For ancient Hawaiians, animals such as sharks represented their deified ancestry line and their presence represented a link to their ancestors.
