I purchased the Entsport Monster Low Profile High Speed Bait Casting Reel for my son as a Christmas gift along with another baitcaster reel. My son has gone fishing at least 4-5 times since receiving the reel and he has been surprised at the quality of the reel. For lightweight lures, there is a tendency for backlashing. For medium to heavyweight lures, the reel casts smooth, far and without backlashing. The reel has out-performed his expectations. He caught several bass each day, no problems reeling in the fish. The Entsport reel has now become his favorite baitcaster and is the first reel he picks up every time he goes fishing now. The price is much less than most competitors, but the quality meets or exceeds that of the more expensive reels. We will definitely look to Entsport for our next reel!

UPDATE: THE SELLER CONTACTED US RIGHT AWAY TO OFFER TO SEND A NEW REEL...THAT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...AND WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!! 🖒Update- received new reel as agreed, it felt good and tight. I loaded it up with 17 lb xl and adjusted for 1/2 oz weight went out behind the house casted about 30 times no problems...looking forward to using it thanks Entsportpurchased this reel in Sept 2016 and I have finally had time to use it, I had 10 # mono and had the line go between the Spool and the body CONSTANTLY, I had to cut the line every time, very frustrating re-rigging every time. I went to 20# thinking the line diameter may help still goes between the spool and the body frequently, but less. Any Advice? I like the smooth retrieve but feel the time wasted re-rigging isn't worth taking this reel fishing........confused

Good price for a decent reel. The number one thing I love about this reel is the power handle, but I’m not sure if it’s really “appropriate” for the reel. I can’t imgaine this reel being used for bigger game fish like musky and stripers like the Tranx or Citrix where the power handle would be a huge benifit... but I could be wrong. This reel is pretty smooth and looks cool. I guess the only negative thing about this reel is you can easily overfill the spool, I like to fill my spools just about to the very top, with this reel the tolerances must be very tight because the string around the spool rubs against the frame.... but that’s no big deal, just don’t fill the spool as much. Oh and I oredered 2 bc I liked the first one so much.

Surprising reel. I thought this would be one i'd put in my tool box for those moments when I had a chance to flip in or around some bridges while traveling around Fl for snook. turns out after using it this one became a 1st string player on the boat each weekend. Extremely satisfied and will purchase another.Solid performer while landing a 35 inch redfish and a 42 inch snook.

I really like this reel but I had a problem where the part that locks into the rod, the plastic broke on the first trip. The customer service was quick to replace or refund me the money I wanted the reel. Sent me one back and i'm back on the water. I really like the look of this reel it's strong and just nice all around.UPDATE! Finally i've had a chance to test this one and it broke! The piece that winds the line evenly on the reel stop going back and forth! More Junk from Amazon and its sellers.....

I love the product. I used it for a few hours to cast from the pier with a diamond Jig. After about 3 hours the line guide stopped distributing the line evenly and began spooling in one place and bulging the reel causing my casts to bird nest. I contacted Entsport and they immediately offered to replace the reel at no charge to me. excellent customer service... and the product was excellent while working. I hope my replacement works as well as the first one sans the guide going bad. I am looking forward to shopping with Entsport again.

This reel is unbelievable and at a price that is just outrageously cheap for how it preformed today I used and abused this this horsed in some nice large mouth bass maybe over 5lb but this thing worked like a champ I'm sure it could have brought in 4 times that weight with no issue super smooth and casted a mile it seemed I think it works even better then my other brand name reel which cost over $200 so I am going to be buying a few more that's for sure I can't believe it's so cheap for such a great reel.

 Who would ever think that a $40 reel would be this good? Bought it to go on the Entsport Monster rod with the intended use being worming and pitching? This reel will do it all. And it is gorgeous. If you are not a pro, you feel like one, cast like ones, look like one--there is no other reel like this on the market today. I have 12 bait casting reels of various makes, Abu, Lews, Kast King, and now Entsport. The others will be dust grabbers now. Wish they were all Entsport. I am still trying to understand why a reel this good can sell for $41.
