Love it. Makes the job of reloading so much easier. I can't imagine trying to load pods without it.

This product works well to hold the refill pods and funnel the coffee grounds. The funnel is also used to help seal the foil around the outer edge of the pod while the holder is also used to help seal the foil around the inner edge of the pod.Where this product could use some refinement is with getting the foil aligned evenly on the pods. When the foil isn't evenly aligned to the pod issues like the barcode getting covered and not read and the foil becoming unstuck during brewing can happen. I get the best, consistent, results when I get the foil applied evenly which takes more effort than I want to have to spend.

Works most of the time but need to do extra trimming around edges or the Nespresso rejects it. Takes extra time and effort, but saves money.

This holder does exactly what it says it does. Holds Nespresso vertuo caps for refilling. It’s well made but I found that when I used it to press down the seal, there were parts that didn’t make contact with the pod. I would then have to go back and manually press down with the back of a spoon or something to get a good seal. I usually am pretty good at tinkering with things like this. After a few brews, my new Nespresso was making some odd sounds so I went back to purchasing pods from Nespresso directly. For me, it wasn’t worth saving the money on pods and breaking my expensive coffee machine.According to the reviews others have had success with this product. I took a chance and it didn’t pay off for me. I just thought my experience may be helpful to some.

I have tried a couple of these refill systems and this one is hands down the best one I have tried. The top "funnel piece " seconds as a press to help seal the foil and did a great job for me. I love being able to choose my own bean and grind and lower the cost of a pod from 1.25 avg to under a quarter. Also allows me to recycle the pods making the whole system much more eco friendly.

I can refill a pod without this tool, but I find I can complete the task much faster using the RECAPS. It is very well made, with enough heft and weight to ensure the tool will stay in place as you refill the pod. Prior to using this tool, I had ocaisional problems with spilling coffee grounds due to the pod shifting.The tool is well designed with each feature helping to improve the refill process.I anguished for a couple of weeks between ordering the raw tool or the package with the tamper and sample lids. I am happy I saved money by getting the tool alone. I see no added value to the tamper since it is not recommended that you tamp your grounds too firmly. I use a coffee spoon to lightly tamp and think it makes for a great cup of coffee. The tamper might be helpful for repacking for espresso but is not necessary for coffee repacks.

This makes reusing the vertuo pods so easy.1. Put pod on base, stack funnel on top/fill pod2. Tamper down just a bit.3. Lay foil on top of filled pod4. Use bottom of funnel to seal foil. Shape aligns pod & presses foil around edge.It's real easy to refill several pods in advance in just a couple minutes.I can now have any coffee I want with correct intensity and am very happy.I originally tried a couple of the stainless still refillable, but they never worked very well. Did not seem to have intensity and the Nespresso machine sounded like it was straining to spin them causing me concern for potential damage. Using this thing with some foils to refill/reuse the original aluminum pods and get the intensity I like

Simply use these simple instructions...Cut off/cut out the original aluminum cover slowly not to puncture the capsulePlace in the holding cup/device use 4 scoops with the given measuring cup..Press firmly with the stamperPlace a lid centered. Use the second half of the holder to press down lid.. Remove and use finger to securely confirm the sticky is adhered.Simple and cost savingI use the 230ml cup capsule and as seen in pictures of done as I have you'll have equal if not better quality coffee results foamy / creama delicious enjoy

Great little gadget!! An absolute must! I have a Bodum Burr grinder which grinds beans directly into a glass cup. Well, I just put my vertigo pod (with the old foil removed via exacting-knife) into the cup (with funnel on top) and hold it under the grinder spout and it drops in through the Funnel perfectly. The funnel keeps the edge of the pod coffee free so the adhesive area stays clean and coffee free. I press down the coffee, remove the funnel, seal with foil, repress with the funnel against the foil and presto - coffee is ready to go! Some people say they have a process of making twenty at a time, and they sit and make their pods. I do this occasionally so I have a few for days I am in a rush... but most days, I just take the pod from yesterday, rinse it out, and do my above mentioned procedure and the whole process takes less than a minute - same time it took me to use a paper filter... and I have fresh ground coffee from Thst morning. Once you get your coffee to pod ratio dow, the benefit of having the perfectly measured coffee (made practically instantly), and directly into my mug is PrICELeSS!! Love! This process, using the verteoline machine has made way better coffee than my premium “normal coffee” machine, the crema is thick and gorgeous AND I use way less coffee to make a strong cup of jo. I cannot speak more highly of this!!

To do a really proper job of holding your empty Nespresso Vertuo capsules while you fill and tamp them with your own coffee, this little device can't be beaten. The funnel ensures that when you pour your coffee into the capsule, all of it gets inside, and the stable metal base is perfectly dimensioned to hold a capsule only on its rim. Once you pour your coffee into the capsule, tamp it, then apply a seal, the top funnel acts as a press, applying even and uniform pressure around the entire edge of the foil. This ensures a nearly perfect seal without having to do any manual fiddling of trying to wrap foil around the edge of the capsule by hand. I found that through experience, applying pressure to the funnel during sealing should be done direct and straight down without any twisting. This minimizes the chance of tearing the seal. You can apply almost as much pressure downwards as you wish without causing any problems. This is an absolutely great product and I use it all the time.
