I was ten when this movie came out and I dreamed of a proper toy line to coincide with the movie. But alas, the closest we had back then was a crappy bendie figure and an even worthless vinyl figurine. I had a small figurine that was bought at Suncoast video that I loved, but was a far cry from a legitimate action figure.Fast forward to now and my inner child can finally be at peace by finally owning a Rocketeer action figure! The interchangeable features on this figure is great and I'm happy it's to scale with Neca figures; it really opens up the possibilities of crossover displays.Great figure with all the details you'd expect. My only real complaint is the helmet design is a little narrow on the sides, making the front profile look a little squashed in compared to the more flared out shape on the movie helmet. I have a replica Rocketeer helmet in my collection so I'm pretty used to seeing the real shape of it.

This rocketeer is a great gift, my son loves it the detail is incredible, I will keep buying diamond select action figures 🙂

For anyone familiar with the Rocketeer via comic or movie, this is the definitive figure. While the figure unmasked head sculp doesn't resemble the movies actor or the comic, its passable as a softer mix of the two. I will also note that while the figure comes with a pistol shooting hand, it lacks one. This of course could be remided by a black series pistol. While it is understandable that DS wouldn't want to include realistic guns with a figure, it's is still appreciated that a hand is provided. It's important to note that due to the Rocketeers having little name recognition, there are few figures to actually purchase. Because of this I would say this is the definitive figure. While it may not be a film accurate or comic accurate Cliff Secord figure, with the number of accessories and masked figure as is, it's a great Rocketeers figure.

The figure itself is decent. It looks pretty good and poses well. I was disappointed that the paint was very plain and subpar compared to the photos. Also, I returned the first one because the packaging was so beat up and I wasn't sold on the paint. The packaging on the second one wasn't much better. If I was an in box collector i would have returned it again. Overall it was worth the $20 I paid for it...

It comes with a hand to hold his iconic Mauser C96, but doesn't come with the gun. Have to 3d print one yourself or have someone create one for you at half the price of the figure itself.Head also isn't as posable as it could be.The base needs some delicate deconstruction to light it up nicely. It has two poorly inlaid metallic rods in it.
