High quality plenum cable
This is high quality CAT 6 plenum-rated cable. For the unfamiliar, plenum cable is designed to be run in areas where building code mandates such cable for its low smoke and toxic fume-producing qualities if there were a fire. Typically this would be used in air handling portions of an office building. If you are just pulling cable in conduits between floors, riser-rated cable is less expensive and suitable. Although not often required by code, I do recommend plenum cable for use in residential settings; the cost is not that much higher and the last thing you want in a fire situation is for your choice of network cable to contribute to a risk of harm or slower fire fighter response. For anyone new to doing your own network cabling, it's important to note that CAT 6 cable has a rigid plastic spine that runs the length of the cable to separate the four individual twisted pairs. You would ideally terminate it in a keystone jack at the wall and a patch panel wherever you're home running it to, not into an actual RJ45 ethernet connector. You're better off purchasing CAT 6 patch cables to go from wall to equipment or patch panel to equipment, because you'll have a difficult time producing an RJ45 termination that comes close to machine-terminated pre-built patch cables from the perspective of adhering to the specification. In reality most people doing this themselves aren't even going to be doing 10gig so it probably won't matter, but you never know.I'm using this cable to do some 2.5 and 5 gig ("multi-gig") access point runs for wifi6 deployments, zero issues thus far. Also doing Cisco UPoE+ 90-watt power over ethernet using it; no issues with that either. I'm pretty happy with the value proposition compared to the big name stuff so far.

Solid copper CAT6 with divider but extremely stiff sheathing
I'm torn on deciding whether to give this cable 3 stars or 4 stars. I eventually decided on 4 stars due to it being true solid copper plenum CAT6 at an extremely good price point. Each pair is clearly marked and the white pair has a coresponding color stripe that is easy enough to see. I tested the full box of cable with two different cable testing tools and both show full continuity for the entire 1000'. Unfortunately I don't have a more advanced certifying tool to do a sweep test of the cable. But I found no reason to question how well the cable will perform once installed. They have distance markings every two feet and starting at zero. I prefer when they start at 1000 so I know how much cable is remaining in the box. But that's just a personal preference. They also have letters and numbers printed every two feet that you can circle or put an X on to identify each cable run as you pull it.I opened up the box to see what it might pull like. I discovered that the plastic cable guide had been broken, likely during shipping. It's a pretty basic piece and isn't physically attached to the box in any way, unlike other brands that have this type of guide attached to the cardboard. I taped this piece back together and put it back where it is meant to go.The only real issue I have with this cable is the plenum sheath. Plenum is always stiffer than riser. But this is at a completely different level than any other plenum I've ever used (I'm an IT provider and go through quite a bit of cable). This is stiff to the point of it being brittle. You can see in my photos how the sheathing broke after bending it a couple of times. This stiffness is definitely going to impact how it pulls, especially around corners. It's also going to make it more difficult to terminate and tuck in to wall boxes behind faceplates. In one of my photos I'm comparing how this cable bends in comparison to a competitor's plenum CAT6. The FiveStar cable is on bottom and the competitor on top. Both cables have the separator spline.I did this test in a shop at around 68 degrees. If you tried to pull this cable in a very cold location I'm sure it would crack instead of bend. That, alone, is what was causing to me to consider giving this three stars.

Just what I needed for wiring up my newly remodeled office studio and entertainment space.
Although wireless is convenient, it still leaves something to be desired when you want to ensure maximum consistent bandwidth. For our new office studio and entertainment space, I wanted to hardwire all of the equipment so I selected this Cat6 cable. It worked perfectly for running cable from the patch panel to each of the jacks around both rooms.Overall, the cable did what I needed it to and has performed as expected.Rating: 5 stars. Recommended.
