Cajon Ticklers!
Love the feel of these brushes and the extra versatility they can bring to cajon playing. Each brush has a pair of rubber o-rings that can be independently adjusted along the length of the bristles to change the brush response from very taught to quite slack. This provides a wide range of sound and feel possibilities - particularly altering the attack when you strike the cajon. The 'bristles' are actually fairly thick strands of curly nylon, densely packed together. When I first held these brushes, I was left unconvinced they would sound good and was unsure about the blue colouring of the bristles - but thankfully, I needn't have been concerned as these brushes are great fun to play and expand the impressive versatility of the cajon still further.

Great cajon addition
Great brushes for the cajon - can be, with moving the rubber 'o' ring, used as splayed brush or stick with different 'textures'. Adds a lot to cajon playing - also rests the palms a little! Delivery excellent.

Good, could benefit of them being slightly harder ( but not too much not to damage the cajon). Still a very good product though !

ULTIMATE CAJON BRUSH! - MUST BUY!
These are absolutely incredible! SOOOO Versatile! roll the rubber rings down and you can use them as a beater to get a good solid bass thud out of the cajon, and a nice slap in the top corners. Roll them up and you have an amazing brush that sounds brilliant and considerably louder than its metal counterparts! The reason I got these was because I wanted to protect my cajon from the scratches that come with using the standard retractable metal brushes. These things really deliver and there are no scratches or marks whatsoever on my shiny new cajon. If you are in any doubt, just buy these, you won't be disappointed! AMAZING!

Sounds great on cajon...
These didn't make a great sound spanking my girl friends pert buttocks. Sounds good on a cajon though. Definitely better suited to the second cause ... but you never know until you try.

Excellent purchase at such a reasonable price.
Nothing to dislike about these brushes which I use on my Cajon. The movable bands on each are very effective.

Perfect for cajon
I use these to play my cajon thereby needing to bend forward less. For that - this are perfect. I have had them about two years and take a regular beating but I reckon they will last another year at least.

Poor quality control for a pricey product, or just unlucky?
The first pair of these I ordered came with uncured glue all over the brushes and the caps weren't glued on properly. They sounded great though! 2nd pair, some glue in the package again, but now the brushes seem pretty shoddily assembled, with an uneven number of bristles between the brushes, leading to loose O-rings and maybe a different sound. I don't have the same great feeling playing with this second pair of brushes, or the same trust in them. I Might have just talked myself into returning this pair as well, and hoping that 3rd time's the charm? I've heard that these brushes are the best, and they are pricey, so I'm very disappointed with the problems I'm having, and can't in good faith recommend these brushes just based on the hassle.

És el producto que iba buscando. Mucho mejor que hot rods de madera

One of the stems of the brushes wasn't quite up to the quality of the other. Sort of like a 'factory second', that said, I probably wouldn't have bought the product at all at RRP, and I would have not appreciated what an excellent product it is. They sit between wire brushes and rods and have a unique sonic quality.

Hot rods were too loud and shot splinters everywhere but these are perfect. You can adjust the volume by moving the elastics. Don't expect to keep them very straight/tight like they are in the picture and wail on the drums though. Grips are comfortable but also bear in mind the reach is a bit shorter than your typical 5A/5B drumsticks. I have noticed tiny amounts of blue stuff on my snare but it just wipes right off. No stains.
