5/8" x 24 Barrel Thread Protector 5/8 Long .730 Dia. Stainless

My barrel came threaded and I didn't want to use a flash hider or brake. Took a couple measurements and purchased this to protect the threads. Put a couple tight wraps of Teflon tape on the barrel threads then screwed the protector in place. Tape keeps it from coming loose but allows it to be easily removed if need be. The protector fit my barrel perfectly, was shipped promptly and is USA made.

Fits Ruger American Gen 2 perfect. Mine was 5/8-24 thread

fits the OD contour of the barrel perfectly. I wanted one that didn't "Stick Out" and this one fits the threads great.

Works exactly as expected

The steel matched perfectly. With so many muzzle devices and options, I chose a thread protector (I have 20-25 rifles with various breaks, suppressors, and flash hiders). This configuration keeps blast percussions in front of me, in the direction intended.

I have these on all my threaded barrels.. Perfect fit and Finnish.. made in America by Americans!!! What more could you ask for.
