I use my Amazon points to purchase these expensive strips to check my husband's INR level. Insurance allows for one bottle of 6 strips a month. He tests a minimum of twice a week due some other problems he has which makes keeping his INR in range difficult. When he has a bleeding episode, I can check his level more often until we get his INR level back up after taking him off his Warfarin for a few days. It has been a God send to us to be able to check him at home instead of running to the ER whenever we expect the level is too high. I recommend purchasing these strips if you have to do more than the required testing. They usually are good for a year, so you can't go wrong having them for extras.

I have used these strips for the past 2 years and will buy them again. They are very easy to use and work well.

Now I have a year's supply !I wish my insurance pay for this, but since they don't I'm very happy with this.

It's nice and well-worth the cost to be able to check your own INR at home.
