It always surprises me what you can buy on Amazon..This was the perfect price and perfect fit for my 2016 Peugeot 308w estate and with the add bonus of next day delivery.Very easy to fit..

I was a little hesitant before buying a cheap vanos solenoid for my Mini Cooper S, but having replaced the timing chain, oil pump solenoid and valve stem seals, I found my car extremely lumpy on tick over.My diagnostic tool gave a fault code of 2D60 which stated that the exhaust Vanos has a control fault and the camshaft was stuck. The likely problem was the solenoid.After installing the solenoid, the car started without hesitation and was very smooth with a consistent idle - problem solved.I still don’t know how long this solenoid will last, but at least it confirmed what the problem was.It was very easy to fit and I removed the dipstick and tube for easier access.Would I recommend? Absolutely and without hesitation. Cheap and cheerful undoubtedly, but it sorted out the problem and you can’t ask for more.I’ve given four stars as I am unsure how long it will last.An update: After little more than a week, the Vanos ‘O’ ring seal has failed with lots of oil running down the engine. The seal is of very low quality and I would recommend buying a viton type ‘O’ ring as these resist oil and high temperatures better.The Vanos is still working well apart from this slight hiccup.

Fitted this to resolve a persistent & intermittent engine warning fault on R56 Mini Cooper S. an easy straightforward swap for the faulty component - finally got rid of that engine management message!

My Peugeot 207 had a fault and we narrowed it down to this part! Took a risk and ordered and came the next day. Took about 2 mins to fit and has solved my issue! My car feels like it’s better then ever now. Great replacement part

The media could not be loaded.  RPM not stable after installation. Put old valve back.MINI Cooper S 2010

Engine gives a metal sound once this valve is installed.Lack of power. Later I replaced this by valve from Febi and everything is good again.

Tras haberlo instalado se ha corregido el fallo q producía el mal funcionamiento de la válvula antigua.

Es perfecta, viene mejor que la de casa

Funciona bien desde el primer momento, pero creo que a veces da fallo.
