It’s smaller than I thought tbh but the hat is soft and cute, the quality is good and a good deal.

It's polyester so it's not like it's going to last forever, but overall It was a great purchase. I wouldn't buy this if I was going to use it in a classroom or a place where it needed to be worn and washed regularly. The candles are a little floppy plus I'd worry about it falling apart fairly quickly.As a hat for a family to use on birthdays it's fantastic though. The kids wear this for every birthday meal and get a kick out of it. It works well even for the little ones, if you sit it further back/tilted on their heads. I have a giant head that never seems to fit in a hat but even I can get this one on.

This hat is not sturdy. I had to stuff tissue paper inside of it to make it stand up. The candles wouldn't stand up either. Not what I thought I was getting for the price I paid.

I give this hat to friends for their birthdays. The hat is well made, colorful and always well received. Birthday photos are enhanced when the birthday boy or girl is wearing the hat. Some teacher friends let elementary students wear the hat on their special day. Its just a fun hat to have or give. Cost is minimal.
