Needs to be more durable.
I was really excited for my first professional pumpkin carving kit. As I usually buy the plastics tools. However upon using one of the tools, the needle was a little stuck in the pumpkin and when I went to pull it out, the needle detached from the handle. And I discovered that glue is what holds the metal pieces to the wooden handles. I had to return this item and went back to my plastic tools.

Quality product!
Great little kit! Comes in a durable zip pouch with multiple tools. I love the wooden handles on the smaller tool. Everything is just sharp enough to cut some fruits/veggies but not yourself! This is the best kit I found!

Not the quality I was looking for
I bought this set to avoid having to purchase a new carving set every year. Unfortunately, i will be buying a new set next year as quite a few of the pieces bent while carving. One of the blades broke off in the pumpkin while my daughter was using it.

Not for your jack-O-lantern
The set is packaged nicely. But the tools are not even useful (not strong enough) for carving a small ($2) pumpkin. Had to use my kitchen knife and other tools for hard part, then just the finish work with this tool. Can’t imagine using it on a bigger pumpkin.

Great professional kit!
Every year I try to get really into my pumpkin carvings, and this year it was time to finally get a good carving kit. I made the right choice with this one.Each tool was individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and they all seem to be made of the highest quality. Cut through the pumpkins like a charm, lots easier than I've experienced with cheaper kits.Very happy!

Nice set for a carving party
Worked great for carving my family’s pumpkins. Nice and sharp for detailed carving, and were a hit for our fall pumpkin carving party. We had about 5 people using the set at once and only had a couple times where someone had to wait for a specific tool.

Mixed feelings about it
Some of the items fell apart right away. But some were very useful. So it gets a meh rating, lol.

Why did people like this?
I found this less helpful than the kits you buy at the drugstore. I thought it was going to make it easy to get fancy on the pumpkin and instead the tools felt flimsy and not super sharp. Bummer....
