I typed "collapsible kettle" into Amazon just on the off-chance that such a thing existed and this little beauty popped up.Ideal for holidays in places where no tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room. Takes up as much space in a suitcase as my over-ear headphone case, so very compact.Love the way it pops out to full size and squashes back down again so neatly - a really nice design, looks good and the silicone body doesn't impart any unpleasant taste to your drinks.Does everything you want it to and holds 555ml which is enough for two or three cups of coffee depending on serving size. There's a thermal cut out so it switches off once it's boiled - something I didn't think to check but I'm glad it's included.As it's only 700 Watts it's much slower than a standard kitchen kettle but if you want more power you'd probably have to accept more bulk/weight so this is a great compromise for travel purposes.I'll definitely be taking this away with me on my next trip away. Who knew they did a collapsible kettle!!?? Perfect for our camper when we go away! I didn’t until I saw it online and as always amazon has everything. I like this one because the reviews were very helpful with videos and lots of answers to questions etc. It’s just the right size for a couple of people who like a big mug of tea! Folds down easily, the silicone isn’t flimsy, feels sturdy made up as a kettle. The first few boils got rid of the ‘new silicone smell’ then we made a cuppa. Perfect. Does what it says on the tin. It’s a smashing fold up kettle. The universal plug adapter is very cool.

Just got back from a few days in Portugal with this which performed flawlessly. We travel quite a bit and now use smaller cabin bags to travel rather than full suitcases so slimming down our luggage meant replacing our trusty travel kettle. I bought this which was a bit on the expensive side, but with the folding to a small case ticked a lot of boxes. We get about 2 mugs worth out of it and it boils fast. Perfect for what we need. Seems really good quality and overall happy with the purchase.

Although I may not be doing as much camping now in the U.K., due to Autumn/Winter fastly approaching, I saw this and had to have one. When it arrived I was not dissapointed. A kettle that you can use, for all hot drinks and also using to cook several food stuff in (when camping), like boiled eggs, noodles etc., that folds down - just WOW! I even considered changing my kitchen kettle to this one to get the full use from it and it also makes sure only boil the water that's needed (saving the planet). It may not be the cheapest, but the use and convenience from it, (and also the very handy included surge protection travel adapter and kettle case), makes it all well worth every penny. I consider it to be an investment in sensibility and convenience. It does exactly as hoped: boils fairly quickly and folds down to the base. As long as the silicone doesn't rip (which I will have to use for a period to see), then all great. I didn't realise but it also comes in a handy travel case (black object at back of picture in listing) and also the travel adapter, for holidays Abroad. It's also easily slid into my backpack or down the side of a case. Highly recommended.

I almost requested a refund after I received because the kettle has really strong smell at the beginnings, but the style I really love it and foldable size is much smaller than most of other kind of travel kettle. I kept it for trying it. First week, I just boil water not drink, I can tell the smell is getting less and less, then I am still not feeling safe to drink it, read the instructions book and did a bit research about this kind of material I know this is quite new technique, and this product is safe for use, the second week, I boiled water I didn’t smell as much as before, than I make a cup of tea, be honestly the tea is fine, the water didn’t have any smell. now I have used it about a month, seems getting better and better, I love it when I am travelling saved so much space in my suitcase and it is so easy to use. I am glad I didn’t return it.

Currently on holiday in Spain and we purposely purchased this for our trip, because we are self catering. Such a useful item to bring, as I'm a coffee addict and the other half a tea addict. It didn't really take up much room in the suitcase and it's lightweight. Extremely easy to erect and use. Also, not a leak in sight, which is sometimes a worry with these portable items, as you worry how well they will travel. No complaints from us, a truly excellent and practical travel kettle.

I bought it for my holidays abroad and I tested it at home. The kettle is very sturdy. Fast boiling and the color is bright. Easy to assemble and to fold.

Passed through security and was allowed in hand luggage on plane. Perfect size and very strong and sturdy.
