Cheaply made
These turbine vent spinners connect from the inside and are very hard to align screws to the inside hole. I have always bought turbine vents that the screws connect from the outside and are so easy to do.I bought them about 2 months ago without realizing the problem until I got on the roof and opened the box. I wasted about an hour trying to install one before finally giving up!!I would never again buy this type of product.

Great turbine (or whirlygig as I call them) works very well. Took spray paint well. Installed very easily. Loved the octagonal base, very easy to slip into the slit in the roofing.

QUIET
We had a HOT Summer season & this kept the house about 10 degrees cooler.It's quiet & turns easily when there is a breeze, but it does need to be 5 mph or more.Own a raised ranch & you cannot hear it from the outside, on the deck that is off of the kitchen.Easily installed over a existing hole for a electric unit that went bad.Will be buying another one in the Spring for the other side of the house.

Great turbine for the money. Doesn't take much of a breeze to make it turn. Easy to install. All the parts are included

Worth every penny
Awesome product, easy to install (I am a novice) and it really works! Instructions are easy to follow.We do not have AC in our home and during the summer months here in N.CA, the house gets warm during the day and remains warm > 82 degrees till about 10 pm.After installing these (I bought 2), the house remains a consistent 70~72 degrees or cooler. My only regret is not buying the aluminum version (lighter?=faster?) but these work very well and are very quiet.

Installed and made sure everything is level, and was barley spinning.. I bought Lomanco BIB-12 MILL Whirlybird Turbine Ventilator in the past and would recommend that one. wayyy better quality.
