The size was fine after I returned a Large and got 2 in medium. BUT...In the hip area on both dresses there is an issue I cannot live with. Extra fabric pooches out and is very noticeable...much more than the 2 dimensional picture suggests. This bunching up of fabric is not acceptable. It ruins the line of the dress and looks like the seamstress didn't know what he/she was doing. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am so tired of buying inadequately made clothing from Amazon and then spending time returning it or having to pay MORE money to try to fix it at a tailor who can charge just as much as I paid for the original. I am 5'3", 125 pounds, 39/30/39 and ordered a medium. There is no excuse for bunching and poochy fabric. I have hips!Amazon needs to do a better job on quality control. And Asian manufacturers need to have ACCURATE size charts. According to this size chart I should wear a large but it was huge on me so I sent it back for the mediums.I can't wear these dresses! I have AGAIN wasted time, effort and money and will AGAIN have to drive over to UPS and make another return. I AM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED. I love the style but refuse to walk around with an inch of pooched out fabric sticking from the sides of my hips-- on both dresses.I AM SO TIRED OF THIS.

This dress fits perfectly. The quality of the material is thick and color is as described. I purchased the purple and white. I typically wear size small in dresses but after reading a few reviews I ordered one size up.34-28-38 154lbs

I get many compliments whenever I wear this. I'm 5"8' 122 lbs with 25in waist and 37in hips. I bought a S (in the nude and black) and it fits just right. Not too close or too lose. The black design doesn't bleed in the wash. But I would suggest wearing a pair of black high-waist Spanx if you have any because the nude/apricot color won't conceal your underwear.

I love this dress. It wears well after washing and still white. I’ve gotten tonnns of compliments. Because of wear the striping goes it pulls away and hides the stomach if you have a bit of a stomach like me. I usually feel self conscious in pencil dresses but feel sexy in this one. It’s a cotton material but stretchy, I’d say color is true, at least for the blue dress. I believe I ordered an xl. I’m 44 38 44. Only downside is that it may have shrunk a tad? It’s a little shorter than I remember than when I first got it. I’m 5’4 and it ends a few inches above the knee.

The dress is generally good. It ran a bit small, I usually wear a large but I bought an XL because of the description and it's a good thing I did else the large would have been totally inappropriate for work. Otherwise, be warned that if you are on the curvy side or if you intend for a snug fit, you need to wear a black slip or something underneath as it will be revealing.
