High Value Rubber - RECOMMENDED !
Awhile back I built an M4 style rifle and this made it on to the gun. I also gave the other one to a friend. He also love it.. the plug is designed to fit A2 grips, and it does that well. It has a slot to put a 2032 large watch battery (fits various scopes and red dot sights) and also has a hole to insert an Allen wrench. That can be extremely useful for adjusting flashlights and other weapon mounted accessories.. Fits snug and tight and looks great. Multi function and keeps dust and dirt out of the grip area.

Easy and secure fit.
Easy fit to save another area of fun having to clean, great place to stash spare scope batteries, Allen wrenches, and optic cleaning cloth. Cloth should prevent any annoying “rattles” in the handle from occurring.

Fits Ergo SureGrip Gen 2
Ergo AR grips with their rubber over molding are my favorite grips. However, they have an assortment of similar grips where some come with a plug and others don’t and I can never remember to read the fine print. I recently placed an order from a popular online sporting goods retailer where you have to spend $100+ to receive free shipping where part of that order was for the Ergo Suregrip Gen 2. After receiving that order, I then realized this was one of their grips which doesn’t come with a plug. Rather than placing another order where I would have to spend $7 for the Ergo A2 plug, another $5 for shipping and wait another week, I decided to give this plug a try instead where I could also take advantage of my Prime membership and get 2 for less than the price of one from the other retailer. This plug arrived the next day and it fits perfect, where I feel the quality is actually better than the Ergo plug. Totally pleased and highly recommend.

This WILL fit a KSG...sorta. It fits but looks odd. Is cheap tho...
This plug will fit a KSG grip. The flared base does not line up with the KSG opening, but if you give it a little push the rest of it will seat down in there snug, and the base is soft rubber and squishes in. Compared to the price of a KSG specific plug, which I would probably lose anyway, this is a great deal and works, it just looks a bit odd. But come on, who is looking under the grip when yer using it? You can lose a few of em for the price, tho I doubt it will fall out if ya just push it in a bit. Was this review helpful? I dunno, I bought this plug specifically to answer here if it fit a KSG, lol, and it does if you're not picky. ENJOY!

Easy access
Excellent!! now I can keep batteries and hex keys, needed for my add-ons with my rifle. Easy install and removal. Looks like it came with rifle.

Solid little plug:)
Function and fit: Right out of the gate, I can definitely see why people complained about how snug these plugs fit; they take a little finagling to get in there, but getting plugs into the cavities they’re designed for is half the fun, right?:D Butt seriously, folks, these plugs are quality:) The rubber is good and thick, not too stiff and not overly pliable, and once in they stay in really well:) Some folks recommended using a little oil to ease insertion, but I found they went in just fine dry, but you kinda gotta start with heel (rounded) side first; tried going front to back and I couldn’t get it in there:) Price: They’re a little spendy if you’re only getting one, so I would definitely go for the 2 pack, as that brings the price down to something more reasonable:) Another aspect to consider: Since getting into the world these plugs belong to, I’ve discovered something a lot of people don’t seem to have noticed, that being that A2 grips are NOT all created alike!!! And these plugs only fit in one of the two readily available sizes of A2 grips:) Yes, there really are two sizes of these basic, mil-spec A2 grips:) If you examine the grips you either own or may consider buying (I know, most people opt to ditch these in favor of Magpul grips or something equally fancy, but if you’re reading this then you’re odd like me and actually prefer the standard A2 grips for your buys and builds:) you’ll notice subtle differences in wall thickness, grip dimensions, spine ridges, etc., so I’ve included a few pix to help show which grips these plugs fit into, because they definitely don’t fit in the smaller, cheaper, what I call “generic” A2 grips found out there. In essence, if you look at the pictures I included, anywhere there are two grips pictured, examine your grips and if they resemble the grips on the LEFT, you’re good to go; if your grips look like the grips on the RIGHT (in the images with two grips pictured), then you are out of luck because the cavity isn’t big enough to accommodate these plugs:) Hopefully this was helpful!!!

Keeps falling out even with MT furniture/grip.
They fit nice. I have a MT grip and furniture on my AR-15. Unfortunately, the recoil of the time spent at the range makes the grip simply fall out eventually. I lost 1 and found the other on the floor the next time at the range. Buyer beware.
