Really simple, really effective!
Like so many others, I have bought a number of draught excluders over the years, all with variable results. Recently, we changed some of the doors in the house and the hallway door was poorly fitted with a large gap at the bottom. So having read lots of reviews (and wondered how many were real!) I settled on this excluder. It is exactly as described. Quite simply you hold it against the door and mark the length (or measure) then cut it (I used heavy kitchen scissors). Put it back against the door at your preferred height and mark the height position. Then simply unpeel the adhesive tape and stick in position. I have waited a few weeks before posting this review to see whether it stays 'stuck' and it does! Success!!! This is despite being low so that it does drag over the floor as the door opens. See photo. If you are swithering over draught excluders for the bottom of a door, this is the one for you :)

Preparation is the key!
If you prepare well this is an excellent product...I cleaned the bottom of the doors well and looked for weak or loose paint which will be no good for adherence..I left the draught strip out on a table at room temp for a while to warm up and bent the item over in the opposite direction at the packing bend to relieve the stress at those points. When fitting i took particular care to align the item with the slight variations in the carpet and after attaching to the door I went over the sticky strip a number of times to ensure it was secure.i did not open the door for a number of hours to allow the adhesive to settle.

Perfect fix!
Was worried about what to do with the uneven door. (Tiles uneven so they were rubbing, tried to saw and took too much off!) Easy to install, fixed the problem and look good. Will paint them as they are slightly off but looks so good and natural. Well worth the money.

Superb idea that works well...
I've tried a number of door draught excluders over the years, most having to make holes in the door to screw them on. This one has a superb sticky strip that you just press onto the door, you then use a sharp blade and gently run it down the edges of the door to trim it to size. Easy to fit, and once on won't come off. It comes rolled up, so I would advise leaving it unrolled for a couple of hours to let it relax, which makes it much easier to line up. Very impressed, and will be buying another one... Easy 5 stars...

Great for laminate floors
Having recently changed form carpets to laminate throughout the house, we've had to control draft and noise better. These are by fast the best and reasonably price excluders we've found, very easy to install and work well.No more drafts and it's quieter too - not to mention these look very unobtrusive on white doors.

Simple and effective
It took no longer than 2 minutes to install. I'm not sure why the instructions ask you to 'measure the gap' (between bottom of door and floor level). Having peeled off the adhesive backing you simply butt the bottom edge of the strip on the floor and stick it on – then cut off the excess. The adhesive appears to be strong but the jury's out on the longevity of this. Hence I've omitted one star from my rating as I don't know if it'll stand the test of time. At this price, though, if it lasts a year or two it'll be reasonable value. There is a mild noise as the rubber drags across the floor when the door is open, but I didn't notice it after a few days.

OK but one keeps peeling off
Easy to fit and like another review here. No need to measure the gap to the floor. Just place it on the door and make sure it is correct. Been on a few weeks now and one is fine but the other keeps coming off at one end. I followed all instructions and ensured the door was clean and dry. That’s why my rating is 3 rather than 4 star.

Easy fix for drafts under door
A little bit fiddly trying to separate the backing tape from the sticky strip, as it seems to stick better than the rubber, but once that was done it was very easy to install. Seems to be quite effective - the rubber is heavy enough to provide reasonable insulation against cold drafts, but flexible enough that it doesn't impede opening the door (a little bit of friction against the floor is to be expected, otherwise you would have a gap for drafts). The double sided sticky tape that holds it on looks very much like a wider version of the 3M sticky tape I used to fix my additional wing mirrors to my car, and that has survived hundreds of miles of wind at motorway speeds and a few car washes, so pretty strong stuff.
