Makes it so much easier to position someone with mobility issues in their bed
With my husband's advanced Parkinson's, he is unable to change his position in bed. As he is so much larger than I am, he was often stuck in the position he ended up in when I laid him down. With this sheet, I have him sit on the sheet on the side of the bed. I grab his knees and pivot him to a straight position in the bed. I then move to the other side of the bed and pull on the sheet until he is centered in the bed. After that he is able to lift up his hips just enough for me to remove the sheet and he is ready for the night. It has made a big difference in his ability to be comfortable in his hospital bed. This sheet works because it is shaped as a continuous circle of nylon fabric so that the fabric is spinning on itself, and not on the mattress. If you want to test the effectiveness of this sheet - try it out yourself. I put it on the floor and sat on it and was able to spin myself in a circle with very little effort. It is amazing how well it works. I only use it to position him in bed so there is no real danger of soiling the sheet. It would be dangerous to leave it in place all night as it is so slippery. I am not sure how it would wash and don't intend to find out.If you have never tried to position a person with severely limited mobility in bed, this may not sound like a big deal, but a little item like this has made a big difference in our quality of life. It is well worth the cost!

A Real Godsend! Update 9/22/2020 (not good)
Anyone who needs to move someone in bed will really appreciate this. This slide (draw) sheet works so well I almost cried with relief knowing i can now pull my husband up in bed or move him sideways by myself without having to wait for someone to help me. I have my independence once again! I wished I had known of this two years ago and saved myself a lot of backaches! Hint: find the youtube video on slide sheets and it will give you more info on how to use this by yourself.IUpdate 9/22/2020: if you wash and dry this, it loses its slickness making it very hard to move a patient, practically impossible for one person. I had, thankfully, bought another for a backup. I will continue looking for another slide sheet that won't lose its slickness. It's too bad because I really like this one.

Highly recommend
At fist didn't quite know how to use it, no instructions. However first sit on the bed, then lay on side. Caregiver pushes the sheet under disabled person and position them in center of sheet. Then have him lay flat and the caregiver can easily move person to center of bed. So very happy I discovered this!!

Works very well for pulling my elderly mom up in bed
My mom is almost 90 yrs old and has limited mobility and strength. This transfer sheet took me a minute to figure out how it works but once I understood how to use it, it helps me pull my mother up in bed when she cannot do it herself. I put the transfer sheet between the bed sheet and the bed pad my mother lays on and it allows me to pull my mother's bed pad (with mom on it) up to the head of the bed when she has slipped down all by myself. My hubby cannot help me due to his having a broken shoulder so this has been ideal.

Prevents injuries, lessens frustration
I had a groin injury that made my entire day a living hell for months. Every lower body movement hurt; sometimes I would have to take a painkiller and wait 20-30 minutes for it to kick in before I could attempt to get out of bed or stand up from the couch. It also made rolling over in bed very difficult and painful. One day I wondered if rolling over was actually causing/aggravating the injury. After using this "slip and slide" for a couple days, my groin hurt less; after a couple weeks, it healed.I don't need to slide up and down, so I lay it across the bed to facilitate pivoting my legs into bed, rolling over, and getting myself back to the edge when I need to get up.

Great to have when moving someone in bed
We used a material like this in the Hospital for my son.I found this one and purchased it, and it’s my new favorite thing to use to slide my son up the bed or slide him to one side of the bed to turn him to his side.He is now stronger to wear he can use his feet and legs to push himself up the bed with very little effort. Just remember to remove it once you have them set to wear you want them cause it’s very slippery.
