I don't know how long it will last.
It is very light weight. Almost like holding nothing. It get up to operating temperature quickly. I've only used it twice but did a fine job. I like the selection of tips for use other than soldering so it's versatile. Easy to change the tips. After all that it is very affordable. Chinese made.

users that haven't done any soldering in a while like me forget that flux is needed to make it stick LOL, lucky I still had some, and after scratching my head a few times and cursing why the F@@@ isn't this sticking...

Did the job
I bought this soldering iron to fix the logic board on my garage door opener because the remotes only worked up close (yes I already checked the batteries and ruled out RF interference). Set it to 300 degrees Celsius, let it heat up for a few mins, and redistributed the solder on the connections that held the 5pin connector strip. Now the remotes work from far away! This isn't the most rugged tool but it saved me $80 on a new logic board or way more on a technician visit. This is the first time I've soldered anything since wood shop back in high school and it was super intuitive and easy. Couldn't be happier with this new tool.

Cheap.. and gets job done.
It gets hot.. poorly made. The temperature control is a joke. The cord is lose and the whole thing is cheap.It's exactly what I was looking for!Something I could use a few times a year and throw in a tool box when I'm not using it. Don't buy if you want quality. This is one of those: it works as intended, but wouldn't buy for a stem classroom or anything...if it breaks, buy another one kind of deals. If you want something that is going to last a lifetime LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Works great and is Cheap.
I use this soldering iron for my delicate soldering chores and it works just fine. Only problem is the temperature control as it does not seem to regulate it at all.

Good Little Soldering Tool
Works well - wide range of adjustable tip temperatures and comes with a selection of tips. Would be nice if the handle was a little bigger for my big fat hands.

A great value, does the job. You don’t really need to buy anything else if all you need to do is burn holes in plastic. This thing does the job very well and it comes with a few additional accessories which are very handy. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Basic, easy to use, get the work done
I bought it to replace the battery of my Oral-B toothbrush, haven’t done anything like this before but I get it done in half an hour. Very easy to use and heat up quickly.

I needed an inexpensive soldering iron for a specific job. I was removing and replacing a relay switch on a circuit board for my dryer. This iron did its job. The dial to adjust the temperature is tiny but it worked. Came with solder which I used. Iron also came with several tips. I’m pleased with my purchase. I fixed my dryer for less than $40 saving a $1000 on a new dryer.
