I use this on a metal cabinet above my drawing desk and it really works well, the design and material looks and feels real good. Flexibility and ability to maintain a position is very good. Size is good. The magnetic base is surprisingly strong and it came with high quality 3M adhesive plates. Advertised as dimmable but I had to find out how to touch and hold from user comments.

I bought this LED gooseneck light to illuminate the bed of my 3D Printer for an Octoprint installation. I knew I'd need more light than what my Artillery Genius has on the hotend since I plan on using the Pi Cam for Octoprint to keep tabs on my prints remotely. The magnet base for this lamp is very strong and easily sticks to the metal case of my printer. The light is very bright on its maximum setting or can be gradually dimmed down easily. It remembers what level it was last set at when it it turned on so that's a nice feature. The gooseneck is easy to bend (maybe too easy for some) but stays put. I think it will be a keeper. If I had to pick one thing I don't like it would be the size of the LED lamp array. It is kind of in my way sometimes and a smaller package with the LEDs packed tighter together might be an improvement. But, its really not a big deal and I can work around it. I think I'm going to buy a couple more lights like this and I'll probably buy this exact model for my Drill Press and Soldering Station.

Beautiful, sturdy, super useful light source! The magnet is really strong. I use it in a rack with professional sound gear and it is easy to move, easy to mount and even turns on and off with gloves on. Gooseneck seems super durable and stays exactly where you put it. It is so bright that you have to turn it away from your eyes. Great for close up work.Where have these things been all my life?!

At first worked well. Started to get dimmer then the touch on and off broke. Cheaply made. Doubt I can get a return. But this light, something is wrong. I feel you should replace it. Just my luck.

I really like this light very flexible and bright enough , used on outside of metal cabinet . I have recently started having a problem with it randomly turning on not sur if its electronic interference or what, the main issue is the touchpad will not let you turn it back off it has to be unplugged. Plug it back in it is fine again and works by the switch. This seems to happen every several weeks I have not found a set time or pattern. Just giving out Info as to my experience.

I bought this for my husband as a light to use for outdoor cooking, It has wonderful, bright illumination that spreads out rather than being a single beam. He attached it to a metal cabinet that is beside his cooking area and magnetic attachment seems to be adequately strong limiting the worry that it will fall off. The fact that it uses electricity instead of having to change batteries all the time is a great bonus!

This is a great light for sewing machine them blind shots or Shadows you get when you're trying to Sew perfectly. My only problem is is the cord is too short. But it was a great price and I'll deal with it
