Super sturdy and durable
got this for my AR-15, I just got a new scope for it, and this is the only case that I have found that the gun fits in with the scope on it!! It is so durable, because of course I dropped it with the gun in it the first time I took it to the range, and nothing happened to the gun or the scope...... and it fits my mags great and the lock I have fits perfect around the handle so the kidos cannot get into it, so everyone is safe. The price is great, and this is the perfect case all around also it fits under the bed great too.

Good Case, well made
I use this case at work and most of the time it is in the back of the jeep cherokee. The case is durable and holds the guns well, I like the latches they are made to come off if they are twisted, this way they dont break, there are four latches, so the case stays shut, when closed. They are the main reason I bought this case, I had another similar case from a large retail chain, and their latches were different. They eventually came apart from wear and tear. This case doesnt have that problem, it is a different latch type and more sturdy. The price is excellent, I check around at all the sporting goods stores and retail chains and the only hard cases they had were like the old one I had before and they wanted three times the price of the new case I received from Amazon. It has room for two guns easily and if you wanted three shotguns it would hold them as well. it also has very good locking capability, which I use as well. All in all an excellent case. I also carry canine units in the back of the jeep as well and they walk over the case occasionally, no problem this case is tough enough. A good buy for you money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

great value, good size, acceptable protection
Strong support for realitively inexpensive case. Actually have two guns in it, loaded 180 degrees apart. Sturdy.

Solid Case for the Money
I actually got this to store airsoft rifles, specifically a Dragunov style sniper. I can comfortably fit the rifle with scope and bipod plus another rifle with room for even more accessories. It seems to be well made and fairly sturdy for light use. The latches are fine for my purposes but for traveling I think they would benefit from being made of metal rather than plastic. I give it 4 instead of 5 because I'm not sure how durable it would be in the hands of an unruly baggage handler for those looking to fly with it. For just over $30 bucks though there isn't much to complain about here. It's even cheaper now than when I bought it 8 1/2 years ago for $39.99.

Incredible durability and protection
2025 Update: I've now owned this case for roughly 8 years and it is still in perfect condition despite all the use and abuse of multiple cross-country moves and various other forms of life chaos. It has protected my shotguns admirably and I'm getting ready to buy a second one to house an expensive new rifle that I'm planning to buy. I've never owned those $200 Pelican cases before to know if they're any better, but I can say that this is one situation where I'm glad to have saved myself some money and gone with a budget option.Hope the 2025 batches are just as good as the one I bought in 2017!--Original 2017 review:I'm very impressed with the durability of this case for the price. I recently took a 1,300 mile flight up the coast and needed a way to bring two of my shotguns with me. Since I just spent well over $10k moving, I didn't exactly have the money to spare for a nice $200 Pelican case, so I was looking for something that would protect my firearms without breaking the bank. This case is built of a fairly sturdy plastic and, unlike many less expensive cases, actually has three points of security for locks: one in the handle and one on each of the corners. Note that TSA told me that I needed all three points locked to check my firearms, so you will need three locks to take this with you, at least one of which needs to be non-TSA approved, since legally you need to be the only one with access to the key at all times and TSA can open any TSA-approved lock. It would be best to use three cable locks designed for securing firearm cases. When I got this back, the case was completely unscathed and everything inside was still in pristine condition as well. I know some gun owners who scoff at the idea that a "cheap" $60 case could possibly even survive a flight, but this thing is the real deal. Highly recommended.

Nice solid case.
Great gun case. Holds the rifle firmly in place with the foam padding.

Great for Airsoft.
While this case is on the extreme bare-bones end for actual firearms, it has a much more reasonable use as a case to transport Airsoft rifles.Either with or without a scope, you will be extremely hard-pressed to find an airsoft rifle that will not fit in this case, the only exceptions that come readily to mind are replicas of specialty weapons, such as LMGs, MMGs, and multi-round 40mm grenade launchers. For carrying multiple rifles, removing the scopes is generally a must, but for low-height sighting options (red dots and such) you may find that they do fit together with a bit of creative juggling.Loading the case to maximum capacity (every bit of internal space occupied by rifle, scope, magazine, or other associated items, can be done and the case still holds up. Closing it at that point can be a bit difficult, but once latched the case still holds. The only problem I've found with the case is that the exterior plastic is not the most durable (expected that though). Any high enough velocity impact with a sharp enough object is bound to gouge the exterior, so no dragging this case behind a 4x4 or throwing it off a building. But for what it's supposed to do (my use case, allow me to transport an Airsoft rifle or two, plus some extra gear in a discreet manner without costing a significant portion of my gear budget) this case is just about perfect.
