So far so good...just got it last night.
As a first time user of the Kalimba I was quite impressed. I've been playing bass guitar for 32 years and decided to learn something new and potentially easy. Theres a lot to learn about this little creatiion, and after tinkering for about an hour, I made my own song. The thumb nubs do not fit my thumb, so I couldn't use them. It seems the shorter bars are stiffer and less melodic? I'm stilllearning so maybe it just needs to be 'worked in' as they say. It's lightweight, well made for a chinese item, surprisingly. The felt pouch is ok, and the tuning hammer is nice, but not high quality. I didn't expect top tiear for a kit with an instrument at less than 25$. I figured I couldn't lose out using a christmas giftcard on it. I love squirrels and saw another one with a squirrel hole minutes after I bought it, but oh well. This instrument strikes me as extremely portable and I'm going to get more and different kinds of them as I learn more about it. I'm intrigued by the sound and also that they come with different bars? (10, 17, etc...) Wish me luck!~Pros - great value for the cost, good craftsmanship, awesome sound, lightweight, fun & challenging learning curve.~Cons - stiff bars/prongs ( maybe its just me?), tuning hammer not the highest quality, inexpensive felt bag, thumb grips are not 'one size fits all' - be advised.I'm excited and very happy with this. My son wants one now hahahaha, he sees them used on tictok?

Way more than I expected! 5 stars!
As my headline reads - It was way more than i expected . I have been a musician for ver 40ty years and I can tell you from a lifetime of experience , this is a quality instrument ,starting with the wood ,mahogany! It is a beautiful wood , not only visually but for musical instruments , it is finished and buffed well , it feels great in your hands . The sound is even better and if you ask any musician ( with some years ) wood instruments change with the years good wood (like mahogany - better sound) , its almost like the wood doesn't know its an instrument until some time passes . You have a lot to do with teaching it too, because once again you can ask a musician and they will tell you , if you put an instrument a side for too long , it almost throws a slight tantrum for not being played .... it's true , from a $4000 Martin Guitar to a Kalimba . The folks at luvay have put a lot of thought into this , there are so many tunings you can use with this too ,although Im not sure about the hammer , I used it to push the tongs from both directions , having owned a few of these I did not read the directions , I have used a penny etc to tune Kalimbas I've owned , I'm sure their directions for the hammer method are safe . Whichever way you decide to tune your kalimba in time you'll find a way and a tuning you like best. If there is buzzing , move the tong slightly and it will go away , don't freak out ,they all need to settle in . These instruments can be your calm at the end of the day and you can't help but think that they could have been left by the gods they have been around for thousands of years. keep on trying till you reach your highest plain .

Lovely sound.
Very sweet and lovely sound. You can’t jostle it around much or the pegs will become out of tune, but it’s no problem because there is an included hammer. You will just need to have a tuner.

Lovely
I at first thought several more items did not arrive with my finger piano. I contacted the seller and they politelySuggested I may have been thinking of a different item. So I checked my order history, clicked the item from there and sure enough I was confused. The case is very nice and protective. The finger piano is cute, fits in my hands easily and sounds very sweet. I am not a musician but only one key seemed off, so I nudged it back and forth until I got a pleasingSound. I like to strum it free form, but do plan to get a book of music lessons. It does come with an instruction book,But I could figure out how to use it. I do enjoy playing late at night after everyone is asleep. My dog loves it and snugglesNext to me watching me play. Fun!

Pretty Good, Loving it
Love love this Kalimba at this price. One issue I have is that the major C keeps buzzing no matter how much I adjust it which is annoying. But at $15 I'm fine with that, this is an entry level Kalimba and it's 100% fine other than that. Would buy again for little kids or beginners who want to get a feel.

For the price it’s a steal. Feels fragile though!
I own a nicer kalimba, and side by side this is so light weight. The wood is thinner and softer. The hardware and tines themselves seem identical, however. It works as expected and so far it’s been holding a tune about the same as my nicer one—I.e. needs regular tunes but doesn’t feel excessive. The sound is nice as well, with a slight metallic edge to it compared to my warm toned one. The biggest concern with this piece is that it just seems less sturdy. But generally people aren’t rough on instruments so all in all I am pleased and would say it’s a steal of a deal!

Wonderful instrument.. Buy this
I am enjoying this instrument to the max. I used to play the harmonica and the piano, found them to be fun to play but obnoxious to everyone else late in the evening. This kalimba provides a soft melody to each note, so even the wrong notes sound relaxing. Its hard to explain, but I was told that the scales I was doing at the beginning gave off a soothing vibe despite it was just a warm up. My dog always comes out to lay in my lap as I play. Great quality and wonderful notes are produced. The instructions pretty much were in chinese, but everything is on the internet so it was not hard to teach myself.
