Oster 4902 Blender Jar Bottom with 1-Gasket for Oster and Osterizer Blenders

The bottom cap was a perfect fit for our oster blender. The shipment included the seal ring. So far we have had no problems with leaks around the bottom cap or seal ring.

This is a perfect replacement part for the base of our Oster 12 speed blender. The base had broken and the unit had sat in the garage forgotten for a good long time. I was sceptical about the fit since the replacement part looked different than the original but it seems to work just fine.

Model 847-01F, received as a wedding gift in 1975. Still works fine but as I screwed the base back onto the jar it went loose and kept turning: cracked! I did super glue and clamp it and it still is ok but just to be safe I ordered this too though it looked a bit different, and I couldn't find a part number or reference to my model. This works great! Bless the folks at Oster for not reinventing the wheel with every new model, or in this case, the plastic base for the blender jar!

I knocked my blender jar off the counter and broke the base. I ordered another listed here on amazon. It said it was original manufacturer part. Threads were off. My osterizer is a vintage Beehive replica from about 2015.This item worked with no leakage so far. It does have Oster printed on it like the photo. I'll try to report back if it breaks in short order like some other ones I've seen here on amazon.So, far, I'm pleased.

I couldn't give this product anything less than 5 stars. It does exactly what it is meant to do, it does it well and its cost seemed reasonable. I don't forsee any upcoming issues with this sturdy, little well fitting perfectly functioning item. Hurray!

After dropping the blender jar and breaking the bottom cap I ordered a replacement cap from another vendor through Amazon. However, the cap turned out to be a cheap replica and cracked across the middle after several months of use. I ordered another cap from this vendor and I received what appears to be a truly factory original cap. It fit's perfectly and looks and feels like the original.

The Oster 4902 blender jar bottom fits my Oster Blender jar properly and works fine.Price was reasonable considering packing shipping and inflation.Seller, G&R, sent it promptly and it arrived before scheduled date. Extra star for them.Only point of criticism might be in the actual quality of the plastic base Oster is producing. It is thinner than the old original plastic base that broke. Maybe it is a newer stronger plastic that will work great but it feels more fragile than the old plastic bottom.Time will tell! If it breaks I will update this review made in October 2023.

If you have an old Oster, you'll probably be disappointed with the quality of this as it's not as solid as the 25+ year old version. I have my oster and my grandmother's, and there is of course a difference. That being said, it was the same quality/fit as the one on my newer (10 year old) oster, which I cracked by overtightening. I received an authentic Oster part in the box, with the gasket inside. I read other reviews that didn't receive the gasket - but there are a few different sellers on this listing so it may vary by seller (it shouldn't - but that's the way it goes). I leak tested it and what I found was that my blade is leaking so I'm not getting an accurate test result (waiting on the replacement blades to arrive). Only a tiny bit of water leaked out after 24 hours, so I would say that the leak is probably just the result of the bad blade.

Product was an exact copy of the original on our oster blender. The choice was to buy a new blender but the motor works perfectly fine.
