I bought two of these bicycle baskets, one for each dog! We have two Papillons who love to ride around with us, and these are perfect for just that. There is a nylon top that closes with a pull-string and we just cinch that (not too tight, of course) around their necks, to prevent them from jumping out - if they were so inclined. The baskets are sturdy and lightweight. Mounting was simple enough, and the baskets come off with just a lift when we don't need them. Our dogs weigh 9 lbs, and 12 lbs. Great product.

Its a well thought out design. We went through two different baskets before finding this one. Our previous one was a similar design but instead of a cloth basket we got a metal mesh one, thinking it would be sturdier. And though it was sturdier, they mesh was a bad idea - our little chihuahua got his nails caught in the mesh and he would scream bloody murder. We had to line that one with a blanket which then made it like a little sauna in his basket.This cloth one eliminates that problem, has vents for air flow and a kind of hood flap that allows you to tuck your pup under like a traditional carry case...and then the carrying case/strap allows us to bring him into stores/restaurants and pretty much no one knows we are carrying a dog as it just looks like a bulky shoulder bag.

This like many others need to be mounted on a bike where they have a post in the middle to keep it from tipping down. I gave it 4 starts since the description on mounting and what you can mount it to is lame and it doesn't work on my bike. That said, I am going to make it work by using zip ties since I like the basket and the remove-ability of it and the low cost. Overall good basket. Here are photos of what type of handle bars I have. I couldn't mount it lower to use post since that bar is too fat. I put it on top and zip tied it to the bottom one to keep it from tipping down.

This bike basket is just about as high tech as they get. The handlebar mount is made out of a super strong composite material, and has adapters to make it fit any size handle bar. The bag frame is aircraft grade aluminum. The bag itself is made of heavy duty ripstop cordura nylon, with velcro strap to hold it in the frame and a drawstring closure at the top. It also has two ribs that insert into special slots on the sides to keep the bag open and upright. The bag locks securely to the handlebar mount and comes off by sliding a locking mechanism and lifting the bag off. Far from the woven childish baskets on other bikes, this one really means business. Good purchase. Five stars.

Supper light weight I use it to check the mail and my pup rides in it from time to time when he gets tired . He’s small 7 pound i think it would easily fit a 10-15 pound dog maybe even bigger. Installation was super easy and I did it in a couple of minutes it comes with everything you need. Once installed you can unlock the basket to remove it with just a click. You cant beat the price either! My previous basket was metal and my dogs toe nails would get stuck sometimes. This basket is super soft and sturdy. I’m very happy overall.

It is okay. When you place items in the basket it drops. If you tighten it up, the lock doesn't work. It is not holding in place when lock is activated. Two stars because it is roomy.

Easy to attach and use. So far seems pretty sturdy. I'll update if it's not.

The basket was shipped very quickly. Super easy to install and fits the bike handle perfectly--there are two gasket sizes; make sure to try both to see which size fits better. The basket size is just right--not too big to get in the way, but big enough to carry a lot of stuff. The detachable lever makes it really easy to remove the basket when you don't need it. Overall, a great buy.

Love this basket but after three cycles with my 8kg dog in it, it started to pull away from its fixing with the internal screws coming out of the plastic. End result he got closer and closer to the wheel. By the time I got home there was a hole in the bottom of the basket. £49 down the drain. It works but not to the 10kg max weight they specified.

Au début je voulais le retourner car la barrure ne fontionnait pas mais mon conjoint la réparer et depuis je l' adore.Sont seul défaut ces qu' il n' a pas d' attache dans le font pour attacher notre chien .

Good quality bag. Mounting hardware seems sturdy. I could not get this to fit on 5 different bikes.I ended up installing on a Trek cruiser using some mounting hardware I had on hand.

I like the way it looks and installation was not complicated. But the attachment got stuck soon enough so it is not easy to put back the basket now.
