When I opened the can and the cats got a whiff of the food, they were all around me meowing. They are free fed dry all the time and get 1/2 can each at night. This food was devoured and left each one of them satisfied and washing up and licking their lips. So glad we tried this brand! Will be reordering for sure!

I have five cats and normally feed them purina pro dry food where they free feed and once a day they get a can of wet food. I switch up between Sheba and Purina because they each prefer different food and they become disinterested if they're eating the same wet food all of the time. One of my cats doesn't care about wet food as much as the rest so she will only eat a little bit but every single time she smells the Weruva she eats most of her portion. It's a good price for the quality. I wish I could purchase it more consistently but when I buy it once a month they all love it. Highly recommend!

This food is solid for cats. I did not like the way i recieved it from Amazon but the product itself is good.

My cats LOVE this stuff! I think it's probably their favorite canned food.They are on a special urinary diet to prevent struvite crystals and stones, so they can't have just any canned food. Although Weruva doesn't claim to be a special urinary formula, I've compared its nutrition profile to the urinary prescription canned foods I've been buying, and the particular minerals we need to watch out for and the ash content (which is a proxy measure for the minerals, if individual minerals aren't listed on the label) are as good as or lower than the prescription stuff. So I feel good about giving this to my furbabies, and it's a little cheaper than the prescription stuff, too. And so far, I haven't seen any more crystals in their urine. I do still alternate this with the prescription canned food, though, and they only get prescription kibble. But it's good to know I can give them choices, because they get bored with the same flavor all the time. (How do I know? They either stop eating the food or it sits much longer in their bowls over the course of the day before they finish it; and then they don't eat their full allotted amount every day.)

Gave my cats this food and they all seemed to enjoy it.

Wet food is BEST for cats, always alwasy always. (Dry Kibble is wrong as a main part of cat nutrition. ) My vet insists that i feed my cat wet food, and this is the only brand my cat loves. My cat does get crystals in the urine and then cat can not void, it is AWFUL, so I can not feed my cat a very high protein cat food. Most cat foods, my cat can not pee, especially if it is dry kibble. Oh my cat loves kibble, but then, cat can not pee. but THIS food, and ONLY this food, is accepted by my cat AND the cat can still pee. FINALLY I found the right food. It has been 2 years now and no problems. I ran out of it once? and within 2 weeks, the cat could not pee again. I can not explain it, but this food saved my cat. My vet is thrilled. I have tried most brands, even brands that cost 2x what this brand costs, but my cat won't eat those.I am very happy with this brand of cat food and have recommended it to several others with finicky cats. My cat rotates her favorites flavor from time to time, but I am so happy to have a healthy well made WET cat food .My cat used to like the "cutie patootie" flavor of this brand's O.M.G. brand of weruva, which is a runny soupy pate that my cat likes a lot,but then my cat got into the "til then" pate flavor, which is a solid-er type of very smooth, no flakes, no chunks smooth pate. (my little diva former street cat can not abide any flakes or chunks, it must be smooth pate...) I very much appreciate that WEruva shows photos of how the cat food looks, THANK YOU. At this point, now my cat will eat almost every flavor of Weruva pate. I just rotate the flavors around to keep her happy. But has to be THIS brand for my fussy cat. (*sigh*. YOu can't make this stuff up.)My cat is currently back into the cutie patootie runny soupy pate again, which is GREAT for 2 reasons, More hydration for her AND i can "pour" it out without using a spoon. Yesss.

Like others have mentioned, my cat has kidney disease, and I am trying to find something with lower protein and phosphorus for her. She really likes this food and has been eating it for a couple years now, but sometimes it seems like the food has gone bad based on the way she reacts to it. Some cases are fine, but others she won’t touch. Sometimes the pate is solid and sometimes it’s runny with lots of broth, and I’m not sure which version is correct. When we do get a “bad” batch, she sniffs it and backs away from like it’s rancid, or she’ll attempt to eat it and end up throwing up.I’m not sure if it’s stored at the right temperature at the Amazon warehouse or if it gets weird on the transport or if it’s simply not produced consistently, but it’s very frustrating when my options are so limited. I can return expensive cat food to pet stores if something’s wrong, but I can’t return this to Amazon if the cat rejects it, and no store in our vicinity carries it. This food is excellent when it’s good, but if you plan on buying it for a long time, prepare to be stuck with it.

My 18 yr old cat is very picky about her food. She only eats the wet food. She Loooves this kind over all I’ve tried.
