Excellent for base type scanner.
Attached one to my sds200 scanner. I did not notice any degradation in signal strength. It worked well for the 700 mHz and 800 mHz trunking systems that I follow. It is neat looking and flexible. Outstanding price for 2 antennas that look and work great..

Another Quality Bingfu Item
We have always used Bingfu for walkie talkie accessories but this is out first purchase of a Bingfu item for our wireless microphone systems. On our Shure ULX U-Band Receivers these antennas work great. Deducted one star for having less receiving gain than the factory OEM antennas. Otherwise they are perfect!

Excellent bang for the buck!
I compared this to the stock free Shure 1/4 wave antenna and the $30 Shure 1/2 wave antenna during a live event with one wireless mic. Ibmeasured results with my RF Explorer and Touchstone Pro software. Each one was averaged over one minute. Shure SLX system with body pack. The Shure 1/4 wave was at -70 dbm. Price = Free. The Bingfu was at -60 dbm. Price = $4.50.The Shure 1/2 wave was at -50 dbm. Price = $30.These are definitely an improvement over the free stock antennas without breaking the bank. 👍

Not any better reception
Bought these 1/2 wave ant. For better signal reception. But all I got was more drops and static. The original 1/4 ant got better reception for my Sennheiser 835 handheld. Im not sure where else these can be used maybe a router?

These antennas work great on my scanners for 700 and 800 MHz
These are a very inexpensive way to get better UHF, 700 and 800 Mhz. Much better than the stock antennas that come with most scanners. And they can swivel from vertical up to 90 degrees. I bought 4 of these, I am impressed and not out much money.
