uniball Jetstream 101 Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point (1.0mm), Black, 12 Pack

I am really picky about pens and office supplies in general. These pens look like the cheap, ugly, generic pens that would write in a scratchy way, like a pen you might grab out of a cup in an office to fill out a form. Don't let appearances fool you! They are actually the smoothest writing pens I've ever used. I found them during law school, ten years ago, when I took notes by hand and needed my pen to keep up with how quickly I needed to write to get down all the details. This pen is the only one that delivered perfectly because of how smoothly it writes - no scratchiness or skipping to slow me down! And you know how sometimes you buy a pen but then you lose it or just start using a different pen instead, so you have a bunch of pens that still have ink until eventually they're dried out and you just toss them? Not these! I buy these and then I actually use them until they have run completely out of ink, which is extremely satisfying. And have you ever been writing quickly and had a pen flip right out of your hands (maybe that's just me)? The outside of the pen is also a smooth, soft, rubbery material that lets you get a good grip, too! And did I mention the price? They are SUCH a good value! I've been loyal to these pens for ten years and I'll keep being loyal to them until they stop being made. If that sad, unfortunate, nightmare of a day ever does come, I will buy every single one I can find to try to stock up as long as possible.

These are nice pens for the money. They write smoothly and the ink doesn’t smudge. I wish they lasted longer because I go through them faster than expected. Other than that, no complaints.

This is one of the BEST pens I have purchased. The ink is dark and it writes very smooth with no blotches and is quick to dry. I purchased the black ink and will probably buy the blue ink soon. Recommend 10/10.

The only pens I’ve used for last 20 years

I've always loved these pens. When I first bought these years ago when I came across one of them this is always been my go-to brand and style. Great design simple functional. The pens are very durable they won't break in your pocket I've never really had one leak. The size of the pen gives it a good feel and comfortable to hold. Some pens are too small and thin that it hurts your fingers to try to hold on to this has a good feeling. Ink flow is consistent as long as you keep the head of the pen clean. Both their ink in blue and black runs smoothly on paper and dry quickly. Unless you use a waxy type paper or glossy paper it might smear, but utilizing these during my law enforcement years as well as my legal years in the court setting they've always been my go-to pen.

When i wrote with it the plastic conical piece cone shape would squeak with the barrel of the pen. It drove me nuts also pen barrel is a little to skinny 9.6mm if uniball jetstream made the pen barrel at least 10.1mm or 10.2mm . I think there sales for this pen would go up exponentially. They write really nice.

Smooth and writes very well. I have a pen obsession and I always look for the smoothness of how rollerball pens glide across the paper. Plus the ink is very dark and does not smear. I take a lot of notes for work and for my Master's program so this is a good pen to have. Love the length of it too. Shorter pen activates my carpet tunnel so I stick withe longer pens to help my wrist and to help with the grip of the pen. Semi-soft grip at the tip woth the grooves help me grip the pen easily and doesnt hurt my poor fingers. Will definitely order in blue ink.

These replaced the bic Atlantis pens that were my previous favorite. I work at a bank and write A LOT. Gotta have a smooth pen that dries fast, easy to write with and this hits all the boxes. I used to prefer the Atlantis pen with all of these things, I found this pen to be smoother, but I kept clicking it to much and every time I went to use it I had to reclick it and I was driving myself crazy. With this pen I leave the cap off all day and don’t drive myself nuts. I found this pen to be darker and easier to write with also. It’s a smooth pen that leaves a thin line. I love a smooth pen but I like a smaller ball point because thick lines look sloppy to me and I won’t use those pens. I’m a picky pen person and if you are too you won’t be disappointed with these. My coworkers also love getting to use my pen when they come to my station for a minute. Lol

Good price & good pens

Best pens I've come across. They write with such clean smooth lines, with no ink blobs or smudging.

Pues lo que dice el título. Son increíbles: trazo grueso sin llegar a ser exagerado, intenso, deslizan de una forma increíble, no se cortan, no suelen atravesar el papel y no se corren. Llevo aproximadamente 2 años usándolas casi todos los días y prácticamente a cualquier persona que se la presto le fascina. El único problema real es la dificultad para conseguirlas en México, pues Amazon es prácticamente el único distribuidor y no siempre tienen en existencia (también las venden en Office Depot, pero creo el precio de casi $80 por una pluma desechable es excesivo). Ojalá pronto surtan más seguido. EDIT 2023: Tristemente en todos estos años la distribución nunca mejoró. Si a alguien le sirve me cambié a las Energel de Pentel que tienen versión recargable y siempre están disponibles por acá.
