Used to live in Lower Manhattan near a famous deli which featured Dr. Brown's Celray Soada. As it's name states, it has a celery taste, which may sound a bit peculiar, but is a distant cousin to ginger ale in my opinion. It is very regional and I have not seen it outside the northeast, so being able to buy it on Amazon is a plus. Yes, it is a bit pricey considering, but it is worth it to me as it brings back so many memories.

Cel-Ray tonic and a hot dog: the tastes of my childhood! Unfortunately, supermarkets don't usually carry Dr. Brown's, so I'm delighted to be able to order a six-pack and indulge!

I have been drinking this particular flavor of Dr.Brown's soda for years ever since I was a little girl. But throughout the years it had become more and more scarce. Other than Katz's delicatessen, and Russ & sons both of which are located on Houston St on the lower east side of Manhattan only a few doors down from each other on the same block...I couldn't find it anywhere else! Whilst I now reside in the Bronx, so I don't always feel like traveling all the way back to my old neighborhood downtown to purchase them. So I would usually try to get at least a dozen or so cans when I did make the trip. So to my pleasant surprise Amazon carries it. Although the only downside to this is that the price is very steep. That has much room for change.

I think the date is fine. Package arrived okay, just really dusty. The flavor isn't as much "celery" as I remember. Not sure if they changed the formula or what. It's good, but it used to be better.

... but I never received it. So I can't. Cel-Ray is an acquired taste ... but it is awesome for "beer can" chicken. Unfortunately, I won't be making any, because I just found out it won't be delivered and I will be getting a refund. "Money-Back" chicken just isn't the same ...

I like the flavor but think it’s a touch too sweet. I honestly might water it down because minutes the sweetness I enjoy the flavor. I wanted to leave a review mostly for the seller who was awesome. There’s always the concern when ordering stuff like this that it will be damaged during delivery. With the amount of bubble wrap and air cushions I’m pretty sure this could have been dropped from orbit and still made it to me fine. Price is expensive but I haven’t found it anywhere local for less than that.
