The Beach House (The Kissing Booth) Kindle Edition

Being from Southern California, I am a huge fan of the relaxation and calmness that comes with going to tht beach. Everything about the beach is so peaceful and serene, and this book gets it all right. Been Reekles perfectly describes a southern California summer, with the exception of the rain storm. It doesn't rain in Southern California. Lol I loved the storm scene though. It was actually one of my favorite parts.I am a big Kissing Booth fan, and I just recently started reading the series ask the way thru, all over again. I have all 5 books on my nightstand, and have read them repeatedly. I've also seen all 3 movies a ton of times!I absolutely love this series! The Kissing Booth takes me right back to the glory days of high school, in Southern California, with my friends. It makes me wish that I could go back, even though it's 21 years later.Noah and Elle's love story is beyond romantic. They are each other's calm and happiness and you completely fall in love with them while reading. Their relationship is one that every girl dreams of. Even if we are old and married and have that kind of relationship, it makes you want to go back and re live the beginning, and what it was like to be young and in love again, before the responsibilities of adulthood hit and made us all grow up.

This is a sequel to the Neflix book-turned-movie "The Kissing Booth". I, however, have never seen the movie or read the book, but the summary/plot of this short story made me want to check this out, and it was at a cheap price.Taking place after the events of the book/movie, Elle and her best friend, Lee, and his brother/Elle's new boyfriend Noah are heading to their usual summer vacation spot: Lee/Noah's family's beach house. But is this the summer things might get weird now that Noah and Elle are dating?I could see the appeal of this book for fans of "The Kissing Booth", but it also is good as a stand alone story and not very hard to follow. Readers should at least know what the prior book is about first (skimming the summary works) before reading this one, but it might make you want to go back and at least watch the Netflix movie.

Seems like this was part of the 1st book already so reading this It's like getting a recap on the 1st book

Wow is all I want to say. Glad to have been able to live that last trip to the beach house and get that understanding of how life changes once we grow up.

Love it wish you would have done one more where Noah and ELL finally get back together for the rest of their life in love.

Cute and easy read! Only 111 pages… the type is a decent size (on the larger size for a chapter book)…wish I had bought the kindle version because it is pricey for a quick short read.

This is a great follow up to the first book. Lots of drama, tears and laughter. Noah and Elle are as cute as ever but they spend a lot of time struggling with the long distance thing. Looking forward to the next book.

Good reading for relax. Love how we are able to connect to the storie, situations and caracteres. Even being a 28 years old adult, I still can relate to the story and feel nostalgic about my youth, high school and first love.

I loved reading this. It only took one sitting. If you watch the movies this helps you to understand the plot better and really connect with the characters
