NO ODOR
Given what this stuff is, I had concerns that there might be an odor associated with it. That is often the case with so many products with similar materials. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is also heavy, feels durable, and makes a significant difference in the vehicle installed in! Highly recommended.

Suggestions...
I do wish the mass loaded rubber layer was thicker. Had to double up in a few places to get needed sound deadening. And if you buy this product use a really good high volume hot air gun to preheat the surface to which the application is made, while also preheating the mat material. And do NOT try to use a flexible roller to press it in unless you are build like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Buy yourself a set of metal wheel rollers applicators WITH RIBS, and several different widths to save yourself a massive amount of work! You should only rely on a flexible roller to smooth out your finished work, and WEAR GLOVES(!!!) and old clothes, or you may wind up wearing bits of stray black rubber stuck to your skin for a long time, and to your clothing forever.

Best cost and excellent quality
Man!!! This product works just like the expensive other choices. It forms and sticks awesome. At much much less cost, this stuff really does have no drawbacks to using over Dynomat or other expensive alternatives. Now hopefully this company doesn't jump on the money train. Lol. Great product at good price. Can't beat that.

Not just for cars apparently
I ran across this because I wanted to add some sound deadening to the back of our mirror closet doors. I also cut the sheets into strips and wrapped them around the wooded joints in my attic because the weather change was causing them to make loud popping noises at all hours of the night.I wrapped the joints with these and while the sound didn't go away, the popping noise hasn't woken me up since I wrapped the joints. The sound went from a loud pop/crack to barely audible tick. Hopefully the sound doesn't come back because I hate going up in my attic :)

GAME CHANGER!!!
I have a 2016 Silverado CrewCab. I recently underwent a full sound system upgrade which required me to cut a square out of the back wall insulation to mount an amplifier. Great spot... but the sound of my 33” Mud Tires was so loud now that I couldn’t even drive more than 15 minutes without getting a migraine! So I though if I sound deaden the truck it would A. Improve the Audio System sound quality & B. Help keep a lot of road noise out. IT DID EXACTLY THAT!!! Instead of the truck feeling as hollow as a dead tree it just feels and sounds solid! Road noise is barely noticeable (Mud Tire guys especially you’re gonna notice) and my sound system doesn’t have to work as hard because more sound is being kept in and it mitigated bass rattle! This kit came with SO MUCH MATERIAL! I have 1/4 of the box left over and you can see from the pictures I used it pretty generously, even double layered the back wall!Overall I highly recommend this if you’re looking for quality without a dynomat price! I’m not mechanic! I’m a guy with a couple tools, an iPhone, and a YouTube app lol. IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT DO IT YOURSELF!PS- BUY THE METAL ROLLER!!! Not the plastic.. it will break.. and you’ll be pissed

80 mil MAT66 works
The mat is in10x16 (if I remember right) sheets. This made it easy to work with and lay out. A good set of scissors is needed to cut since it is dense. The adhesion was superb and had no question if it was going to stay in place on the roof walls,or floor. I did not measure the decibel levels before or after, but can tell the road and engine noise is less. I had no problems reinstalling the headliner, flooring, or middle console and ducts. It went in a '12 Tundra and I was meticulous and covered absolutely everything that was metal in the cab. I even ran it up the front floorboard/firewall behind the dash as far as I could. I'll be buying more to do our next vehicle

Sticks and works
The weight of the material is very noticeable, can not attest yet to how much noise will be dampened but it sticks great, cuts easy and comes in manageable sheets
