Looks better in person!
I upgraded from a cheaper Giro helmet, to POC. The fit is great, and there's really good air flow. I love the citrine color! The stock photos looked a little washed out, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's even better in person. For those saying that the straps don't fit well - they are adjustable. You can move the straps forward or back using the plastic bracket. I had to do this to get a good fit for myself. I also had to lengthen the chin strap, which is by the chin clip (not pictured).Overall, I recommend this helmet for cyclists!

Good…But
Gods helmet but chinstrap seems really short. I have it maxed out and barely can be latched.

High quality comfortable helmet
I like this helmet better than a more expensive POC one I purchased in the past. It looks decent and is very comfortable.

Pricey but nice helmet for this long oval head
Overall a very nice and very pricey helmet. I’m writing this review to cover a few things that aren’t mentioned very much.To start with, it’s a very comfortable and well ventilated helmet. I have a 59cm (7 3/8”) head that is a bit “long oval” in shape. The size medium Omne helmet fits about as well as I could hope. This helmet also has a couple reflective sticker strips, one on the front of the helmet and one on the back. It’s not much but it’s appreciated. It has the “Spin” pads that minimize rotational forces to the brain in the event of an accident. I prefer Spin to MIPS because MIPS has a tendency to make creaking noises in my helmet as well as arguably take up head space within the helmet. For example, I tried on two Giro Synthe helmets a few months ago, one with MIPS and one without. The one WITH MIPS was surprisingly too tight on my head. The one without MIPS was a perfect fit. With POC’s Spin technology, it is merely gel pads that replace the normal pads. If anything, the gel pads add comfort along with the increased safety. Also, the straps do not catch my stubble as much as previous helmets have. My old POC Crane and Bern helmets were notorious for that. The Omne uses a thinner fabric as well as a little sleeve that slides along the strap. I believe the sleeves main purpose is to hold the extra strap slack, but it also doubles as a chin “rest.”The only thing that would really improve this helmet for me is a removable ball cap style visor. Not only are these incredibly functional for various kinds of weather, they also go a long way toward changing up the style/vibe of a helmet. They add an instant “urban commuter” look that makes the helmet seem a bit more casual and a bit more..... “cool”?The only reason I am not rating this helmet 5 stars is the price. It’s fairly expensive compared to other helmets on the market and for that reason alone I’d have a hard time recommending it to family and friends. If it were half the price, it’d be an obvious 5 star helmet.

Poor Earodynamics
Everything else about this helmet is outstanding, except for how the strap fits around my ear. I was able to fix it by cutting off the plastic piece that holds the straps.

A quality helmet which saved me from serious or fatal head injury
I don’t think it is an underestimation to say this helmet probably saved my life today. I was cycling at 25-28mph when a pedestrian stepped out from between two cars into the road right in-front of me. I had no chance of stopping there was barely time to react. They were not hurt but I went straight over the handlebars onto my head. I didn’t loose consciousness but thought I might have broken my neck. I was taken by ambulance to A and E. I probably have a rotator cuff injury in my left shoulder but no broken neck and I am alive. Without this helmet the story could have been very different. Just look at the photos. I have bought another of these because of this experience.

Finally, a helmet that fits.
This helmet arrived within 24 hours of order, free delivery !!I researched compact helmets, decided this was my best option, I wasn’t wrong, take a look.I’ve been a regular cyclist since the1960s , owned about 10 helmets, Specialized and Kask, this POC is the first one that actually in my honest opinion, looks the way I want a helmet to look, not bulbous, mushroom shaped or just downright silly. Its a medium, I’m around 58 cm, I made a few adjustments and it fits like a glove, a tiny bit heavier than previous helmets but worth every gram, yet to ride a bike with it on, but who cares about minor details like that, it looks good, that makes me feel good !!!£104 is not too much money these days, it’s equipped with the latest levels of protection, and it may just save your life into the bargain, what’s not to like ?

Finally a helmet that fits and looks good
After catching a glimpse of myself in a reflection wearing my old Giro helmet I realised I looked like a giant mushroom head. I immediately looked for a replacement. After trying several helmets from various manufacturers which either didn’t fit like they said or were simply ill fitting I ordered the POC. My head is 59cm and this helmet in medium fits perfect and looks great. There’s still room for a skull cap too. Great helmet. Great looks. Great quality.

Poor strap design
It has been widely documented, the strap system is not adjustable up or down. In short ... it is way to short! The plastic bit either ends up cutting in your ear or just over the ears.Bad, bad design choice from POC.Otherwise the helmet is ok but nothing special and certainly not worth 140 quid full retail! - POC must have been dreaming when they priced this originally. There is exposed foam on the underside, not something any £140 helmet has. On the inside the pads only cover the 3/4 front with your head touching the foam on the rear. The straps use the cheapest material, scratchy and thin. The helmet is on the upper range of weight, this is no lightweight racing lid.KasK do much better as do Specialized with their entry level (full, proper) MIPS helmet for £60 full Retail!!! All cheaper, lighter and better constructed. The only plus about this helmet is it's looks. At £70 discounted still too much but the severe shortcomings are a little easier to swallow.Looking at the rest of the companies products all are at the very upper limit of price. Style over function springs to mind!Buy another brand.

Not just another cycle helmet but a good design and safety helmet
POC is an award winning Swedish company with a strong mission to do the best it can to possibly save lives and to reduce serious injuries and as well as a range of helmets they also do apparel. I did a lot of research to arrive at purchasing a POC helmet as they don’t come cheap but though there were many mixed reviews out there overall they were good and have a solid background in safety in sports and offer great design too. This the POC Omne Air Spin is their entry level helmet which I purchased at a very good price all due to my patience. The POC Omne Air is well ventilated for those who get a little too hot and sizing is good which it has an adjustable dial system that tightens through the entire helmet and comes with their version of MIPS system known as SPIN (Shearing Pad INside), which is their patent-pending silicone pad technology system. It comes in a nice box but also with a dust cover for when not in use.As I previously mentioned before it is a great design as is all the other helmets in the range which all come in some really interesting colours, mine is the Zinc Orange and White which was my compromise at the time but overall goes very well with my cycling gear and the Orange actually is good from a drivers perspective in being seen and weighs in at 305g (Medium). Overall, I am happy and hopefully I won’t need to find out how safe it really is.
