Champion Barbell 4-Inch Tapered Belt

If you like old fashioned leather weight belts, this is for you. If you don’t want a lot of extra belt, order a size down UNLESS you are close to moving up a size. For example, if you’re a genuine medium, you could probably go down to a small with comfort, but if you’re a medium but nearing the large size, then a small would definitely not fit you. It’s honestly based on whether you want extra “slack”. Other than that, it’s a phenomenal belt, very comfortable and very sturdy.

I was sent a belt different than what is pictured. I’ve used the belt pictured at my old gym and was attempting to purchase it. The belt I was sent was dark brown (not tan), had a double buckle (as opposed to the single that is pictured), and the size was nothing like the belt pictured is, which I know from using it at my old gym; I fit an extra small but the small I was sent was too small. The leather also seems to be of a lower quality. Either I was sent a generic version of the belt or it was just the wrong one. Hopefully they will see this and amend the mistake..

This best is exactly what I was looking for and can be worn for most all workouts except for possibly very heavy deadlift and squat work. It's stiff, maybe not 10mm thick but very secure unfinished natural leather. The taper in the front will allow for plate loaded leg press work, where the full 4" belt digs in pretty bad at my pelvic and short rib bones. I'm 5'11" 180lbs and the size M fits perfectly -- I normally wear a size 32" pant and like my lifting belt to be very snug, which will be just about in the middle hole on this belt.

small (27in-36in waist), medium (31in-40in waist), large (35in-44in waist)The sizes given are absolutely wrong. My belt size is 32-inches, and my other weight belts fits well (and, yes, I wear then properly, around my lower torso, not my waistline). So, what size do you think I ordered for this belt based on the sizing chart provided by Amazon? Small, right? Well, that's what I ordered, the belt is stamped "S", and the clear wrapping package reads Small. Well, it doesn't fit...it's too small. By far!I am on the second to last hole, and really, to be comfortable, should be on the last hole. So, these run SMALL, and one should consider ordering the next size up. Do NOT rely on the sizing chart.From a veteran lifter (me), seems the quality of the belt is good, so I will replace it with another, sized Medium.

I love this belt! I am 4'11", 118lbs. I ordered a small and it fits perfect with several holes to go up or down in size. My back feels so much better when doing squats. This belt is perfect for my home gym, can't go wrong when you buy champion!

Tough firm leather. Just a way a weight belt should be. It helps with all my max loads and it looks so simple it is awesome. It stays in place and because it is tapered, doesn't rub against my ribs. My buddies prefer the equal width double prong belts belt for more stability but I feel good in this one. I actually don't feel much of a difference.A plus is that the belt looks more than the price it is being sold for.. Another plus is that it is easy to put on and take off compared to the double prong belts. Another is that it is made in Texas!

This is not the belt pictured. Incredibly annoyed about this. The description is a complete utter lie. I received a flimsy, double prong belt. No genuine thick cowhide here. The one pictured as the product is the same belt my power lifting gym has. You can’t bend the belt with your fingers and it’s much sturdier. This belt is weak, cheap, and not for experienced lifters. Complete lie.
