innelo Surface Dock with HDMI Adaptor for Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), Pro 4 and Pro 3

As many of the reviews say, it does not charge your Surface device (for reference I use a Microsoft Surface Pro). But I knew that when purchased this and as such for me to pay $7 for a USB expander with a dock to prop your device (for example, my android tablet if I were using that instead), I did not mind.Once you connect the USB to your device, the dock itself does work well as a USB expander. I could use my wireless mouse and keyboard and my external hard drive with the USB ports on the dock without issue. I have not tried the HDMI cable yet, but I doubt that would have any issues since all the other USB ports do work.Of note, do not use the 3.5 mm jack on the dock. When I plug my headphone in, sound only comes out of the left ear and definitely at a lower quality than what I know my headphones can produce. Considering I'm predominantly using it with my Surface Pro, I'll be using that headphone jack instead.All those other clunky power cables and connectors to charge things are pretty much going in the trash.

There's no HDMI port. There's a USB to HDMI cable included in the box but it doesn't work.You can use one of the USB ports to activate the remaining ports on the dock after connecting the USB cable to your surface pro.You'll still have to use a mini display cable for external screen since sick has no port as mentioned earlier.The quality of the product is ok for the price but I couldn't really make use of this product the way I intended.I packed it back in the box. It's sitting in my cupboard now.

So I got it because the price was pretty cheap. It powered my surface pro and everything. However, the dual monitor does not work with the HDMI cord that is provided. Also, the first time I pulled my hdmi cord out of the their HDMI adapter, the entire HDMI adapter pulled apart. Very cheaply made.

This seemed like it was going to be a winner.USB hub felt solid and worked well.USB to HDMI worked well.Nice packaging and cabling.Unfortunately, the device would not power either my surface 3 nor my surface tablet. Too bad.

The read me file is in mandarin, the charging cord end lights up as soon as it is plugged into the dock (before it is connected to the Surface) which is not the way the OEM cable works. The title of the product should just be "big black brick" since its only viable application is a paper weight. Very poorly designed. It deserves zero stars or negative stars. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE!!!

Didn’t work for surface pro 3 as advertised.

While the power is connected to the device, the power is not transferred to your Surface and thus depletes the battery. The other features are ok.
