I absolutely LOVE this balm. The Rose geranium scent is beautiful and calming.I’ve read some reviews regarding that it is unpleasant- I think it’s safe to assume that some may be unfamiliar with the naturalscent of ghee which can be unusual to those who are unfamiliar with it and can take take some adjusting. It essentially smells of milk but slightly intensified.Once you are familiar with the scent of ghee, it normalizes.I purchased this product because of its natural benefits. Ghee is deeply moisturizing - a little bit goes a LONG way. I simply apply 3 dots- one on my forehead and two on my cheeks and it beautiful covers my whole face and neck.A dime size would be too much as the skin will only absorb the amount it needs.Initially, I wanted to use this as a night cream but I find myself using it in the day now as well.It also feels like a one-stop shop. Although I use a separate brand for eye cream. I’m no longer using it and focus the balm around my eyes when I’m massaging it in.I’m all about reducing the amount of products in my skin care regimen- it saves money and decreases the chance of adverse effects on my sensitive skin.My skin care routine consists of1)oatmeal face wash in the morning2) exfoliate with face scrub (store bought or a homemade ayurvedic recipe blend) 3-4 a week to remove makeup and any oil residue. I also find that the balm absorbs best after an exfoliation.3) Tone my face with rose water with a cotton pad (also focusing on wiping the eyelids- I wear contacts and have been prone to the occasional stye) Rose water is excellent in removing mascara and oil residue. I find that if I don't use rose water to refresh my eyes a stye builds, reminding me that I've slacked on my Rosewater cleanse.After a shower, I also spritz rosewater on a pad and clean the inside and outside of my ears ears. Wipe my armpits before applying my Crystal deodorant and will spritz my hair after a washing my hair.4) Gently massage the Beauty Balm on my face and will apply a very small amount in my nostrils and around the eardrum.No longer using a separate eye cream or day cream.And then start my makeup routine.I'm a 38 year old year old black woman, who has worked in wellness for over 10 years. Early on in my career, I'd volunteer myself whenever an aesthetician needed a face to try a new product on. Unfortunately, one of those treatments burned my face and created a monster of sensitivity on my face. I am grateful that the only lasting visual effects of that is a discoloration that where the skin around my eyes are slightly darker in appearance.Aside from this, I am constantly complimented on the the suppleness and clarity of my skin. Partly due to genetics but also due to my natural skincare routine.I am grateful of companies that are true to their brand and philosophy such as Banyan.Question:I read that ghee also has a lactic acid component. Is this true? If so, I think it's an added benefit.Will Banyan create a skin care line that also includes and Ubtan for exfoliation and/or a face cleaning balm?

This is my favorite balm. It works well with my skin, gets absorbed completely, and leaves the sensation of being nourished. I apply it everyday everywhere. It also works great on my mouth, making lips look fuller when I apply it at night.The trick is to use it in very small doses, much less than the other balms.

I like that the oroduct is packaged on glass. I like that it’s all natural materials including herbs. At first i wasn’t sure about the scent. The ghee is the top note, but it fades as it lubricates my skin, and i’m left with the very subtle rose geranium. It’s nice.

I almost never take the time to write a review on any product, but just had to give this beauty cream a 5 star rating. I will definitely buy again! My skin feels totally nourished by this beauty balm and I hope Banyan Botanicals never stops making it! P.S. I love the smell!

The ladies in my family are addicted to this wonderful face cream. It smells and feels absolutely amazing. I’ve tried all different face creams, particularly natural and organic with limited and wonderful ingredients and this is by far the best

anyone who have had skin issues like psoriasis or eczema know how difficult is to find a product for the skin relief. I've been gone through many products. During my recent rush I decided to try this balm for its simple yet very clever ingredients combination. I used ayurvedic treatments before but they always had terrible smells.I applied Banyan Botanicals Beauty Balm every day and noticed very good results. Of course, you need to follow certain diet and daily routine as well but as the skin applicant it worked really well. Make sure you use clothes which you do not mind to through away after using them. At some stage (no matter how often and well you wash your clothes) they will start to have very distinct smell, like a spoiled ghee (if you know this smell).Otherwise, I highly recommend this product for skin treatments for face and body.

4/15 Update. I changed my laundry soap from unscented plant-based kind to Tide temporarily and it removed the odor after 2-3 washes. I may restart using this balm just on my hands and feet until I finish 2 full jars I have. I don’t plan to use this on my entire body anymore while I explore different kind of laundry soap that is more natural and may have more washing power.1/28 Update: I really love this balm but unfortunately after long-term use I found out it makes my clothes odorous possibly due to built-up ghee, an animal fat. I decided to stop using it and currently I am seeking different laundry detergent to see if it gets rid of the smell. My advice is to use only a small amount each time and avoid long-term frequent use. For this reason I had to downgrade it to 3 stars.

I am using this from 1year. To my experience it is the best product I have seen so far. As it says it can be used for all skin type damages. No side effects. Can use this without any doubt.
