iPettie Clover LED Light Pet Water Fountain 2.3L/78oz, Ultra Quiet Automatic Water Dispenser with USB Pump for Cats and Dogs

Let me start by saying I love my cats, so I’m game to trying new things for them-like the IPETTIE Clover Cat Water Fountain. Of course they ARE cats, so the enthusiasm they show may not be as great as mine!This fountain was a replacement for a fountain I purchased some years back at one of the big box pet stores. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The IPETTIE fountain is super, super quiet with zero noticeable motor or water noise. Granted the old fountain had aged, but it was never this quiet! I also really like that the fountain has 2-stage filtration with a washable mesh to keep lint or hair clear of the pump and also a separate activated charcoal cartridge for water freshness. The large 2.5 liter capacity is also nice.I am really happy with the cool blue glow of the fountain light, it’s a nice look as well as gentle path/nightlight in a dark house. My cats prefer the clover attachment in place at the top of the fountain which gives separate streams of water to drink from. You can also remove the clover attachment for more of a bubbling bowl type effect for your cat. I’ve included photos of each option.Another really cool aspect of the IPETTIE fountain is that it uses a conventional 5V USB power connection. There is a USB power cube included, but think outside the box a minute...this fountain can also be powered with a USB power bank! Finicky cat on vacation? Older, special needs cat set in their ways? Extended utility power outage? A little creativity and a USB power bank and you can keep kitty happy no matter what! :-)All said and done I’m very happy with this purchase! I got this for my chihuahua. She loves it so far. I previously owned a PetSafe Seaside Pet Fountain, which I had to stop using due a fatal design flaw with that pump setup. This fountain is well designed: there is nothing blocking the water flow coming out of the pump, water is allowed to flow freely with no resistance. This leads me to believe that the pump will likely last a long time. Love the LED lighting; it will help my dog to more easily find the water bowl at night. You would think that the water cascading down from the flower would make noise, but it doesn't, its virtually completely quiet. I'm also not hearing any noise coming from the pump itself. Also I found this unit much easier to take apart and assemble than the Seaside Pet Fountain. Another thing I like about this unit is that the filters are teeny tiny and very easy to store if you don't have much storage space or live in a small dwelling. Overall I'm super happy with this pet fountain. I just set it up today and I will update my review if there are any changes.

I purchased this to replace a Drinkwell Mini. I read the reviews. I was looking for something easy to clean with a decent filter. This is VERY easy to clean. I clean the cat fountain weekly and have for 2 years. Week one cleaned this new fountain without any issues. Again really easy to clean. However, week two cleaned the fountain plugged it back in and the light was the only thing that came on. I tried taking out the pump readjusting it, left it out to dry completely, filled it with water again, plugged it in and only the light came on. I am SUPER disappointed. I do love how easy it is to clean. I requested a replacement hoping that it was just an isolated issue. I will report back. For NOW SAVE YOUR MONEY!UPDATE: I recieved my replacement of this product two days after my inital review. I had the fountains side by side. One thing I noticed immediatley was the one I recieved today had a white sponge that sits infront of the filter. The first one did not. Not sure how I missed that in the set up becuase I used the directions. Maybe that is why thr.pump stopped working, but my previous Drinkwell fountain did not have the sponge and the pump worked for two years. I also noticed the one I recieved today had 3 black scuff type marks inside the bowl. This was not a big deal they came off when I wiped it down. I set it up using the directions again. Filled the bowl with water to the line. NO WATER came out of the flower. The light came on. I took off the flower and removed the cover. The pump was working, but was so weak it could not push the water out of the flower. I AM DONE with this product and the company. Complete JUNK! I have been on Amazon since 2003 and NEVER gotten a replacement product that didn't work. Now, I wonder if I EVER actually received a new product. The first one was missing the sponge filter and the second one came scuffed. Very disappointing because it was so easy to clean. DO yourself a favor and SAVE YOUR MONEY.

This is a great water fountain for my two cats. They really enjoy the running water and it is a very peaceful sound that I like as well. It is easy to clean and works really quite flawlessly.My only ding comes from cleaning. My apartment complex has pretty clean water and yet I find that the small foam filter gums up within a few days, not 2-4 weeks as stated by the replacement schedule. It is simple enough to clean, just pull the little foam price in front of the charcoal filter out and give it a good squeeze and rinse. The replacements are about 15.99 for four foam prices and four new charcoal filters which is reasonable. The both are good for 2-4 weeks but the foam piece just needs a good rinse in between changes or the flow gets weaks.Great product otherwise, no discoloration or discomfort for both my 12 week old nor my 8 month old behemoth.Would recommend.

In my area of windy, rain forested Hawaii, power outages are not infrequent. I am concerned that my cats have access to water if I'm away from home when an outage occurs. The design of many of the other models didn't offer this. I also like that if there is an extended outage, I can use my car's battery charger's USB slot to run this fountain. I love the design and all-white color - it looks like a fancy water dish, not a rice cooker. The blue light is very subtle and looks great at night. It's pretty quiet; there is a slight hum, but it's not a bother. It took my cats a while to get used to but they seem okay now.
