X Lube - Powder Lubricant Water-Based - Very economical

Powdered personal lubricants are mixed to preference. They are very slick and great for butt stuff. Same key ingredient as Bad-Dragon's lubricants, but mixing it yourself is much more economical & you can control how thick/gooey it is.I recently switched to X-Lube (100% polyethylene oxide) because I discovered that J-Lube is only 25% polyethylene oxide and 75% powdered sugar (more detail below), so I will be mostly comparing the two in this review.X-Lube requires far less powder than J-Lube to mix a bottle of the same consistency. One level cap of X-Lube powder added to 250ml/8oz of water makes a wonderfully slick and gooey-thick lube (maybe too thick, as it still performs very well even with almost twice that amount of water!). One level X-Lube cap measures out to be 1/2 tablespoon.X-Lube powder is about as granular as laundry detergent. Easier to handle & less messy than J-Lube, which is a very fine powder and prone to going airborne while handling.X-Lube dissolves much better and more evenly than J-Lube does. No clumps! The resulting lube is also much more clear. It takes about 20 minutes to set, but the bottle recommends waiting 2 hours before using.Note: Adding more powder or water to adjust the consistency of lube that has already been set will take a couple days before it is uniformly redistributed. It is best to know your preferred measurements of powder and water for the initial mixing.As with ANY water-based personal lubricant: if surfaces dry out during use, you can rejuvenate the slipperiness by splashing it with a very small amount of water.I figure the lack of sugar in X-Lube makes it much safer for vaginal use than J-Lube. (I'm a dude, so I wouldn't entirely know.)Ease of cleanup likely depends on concentration of mix. I mix it somewhat on the thick side, and it washes away with just water.For my intents are purposes, X-Lube completely replaces J-Lube. I intend on comparing X-Lube to K-Lube later.K-Lube boasts added preservatives-- but J-Lube is 75% sugar, and I've never had any major issues with shelf-lives of a couple months at a time (aside from when a small group of ants found the prepared J-Lube bottle, which is what prompted me to look into exactly what J-Lube was made of). Not a fine dust that makes a mess like J-Lube. Flip-top bottle is convenient for measuring because pouring is more controlled.For the same powder/water ratio, K seems more sticky & slick than X, but not as viscous (which I think is a good thing). But it largely seems like they are pretty much identical.X costs $32 for 100g. 100% polyethylene oxide.K costs $35 for 200g. Blend of poly-oxide and other undisclosed ingredients.Based on how they compare, I am sure K-Lube is still comprised of mostly polyethylene oxide (90%+). Just a few bucks more for TWICE the product!I assume the undisclosed additives of K-Lube are to improve the shelf life. Based on Bad-Dragon's lubricant, these are likely Potassium Sorbate (preservative) and Citric Acid (pH adjustment required for the preservative to work). Wow...Have you ever wanted to slide to the next city, from your house? This makes it possible!I bought it to fill up an inflatable swimming pool... use your imagination. I mixed up gallons of this stuff, and boy do I have a story for you!!!So after that, I had a ton of the powder left in the bottle and figured... why not keep using it? It’s bought and paid for after all. I’ve been using it ever since, and I’m pretty sure this bottle will last me through my next 27 relationships or my death, whichever comes first. It takes so little product to make a batch. It’s really quite amazing.I will say that at first, the directions make too much. The suggested batch would last 14 years, so I cut it down to a smaller batch size. I don’t think you’re supposed to use it after a couple weeks of being mixed, and unless you’re a porn star... you won’t use that much in 2 weeks!Then I played with the mix/consistency to see if I could get it less “stringy”.... imagine a 2 year old child with a cold. Like a 2 foot long snot trail. Seriously, it seems to stretch and string for miles. I used a ratio that was more water and less powder than suggested, and had good results.Better than any of the store bought lubes I’ve bought... there’s been many!It’s easy to wash off using warm water. Not so easy with cold... it just gets more slippery.Warning: Do not run while holding a mixed bottle... if you fall, you’ll slide to the next time zone. Seriously, don’t! Your family will miss you.If I ever run out (I won’t), then I will certainly buy more... and leave it in my will for someone to inherit. I bet one bottle could last 4 generations.Summary: Buy this stuff, and get an inflatable pool... you just have to. It’s an experience that they should have told us about in sex ed class.

I've tried all the lettered lubes - J, K, KY, and more. I was skeptical that 'X' would be much different or any better. But it is! The main differences for me, when compared with J Lube, are that it's significantly easier to mix without much hassle, it's slick, and it stays wet a long time. Has now become my go-to for, uh, birthing cows and such.

This stuff lasts! Super high-quality lubricant for your playtime. And when you're done, it's easy to clean. A little goes a long way and it was super easy to mix. Just follow the directions and you're good. Some reviews about clumps aren't accurate, they're probably a little impatient - just shake the bottle a little more and allow it sit and the clumps are gone.

This is virtually the same as jlube, only without the dispersing agent and sugar. Since that’s the only real comparable product as the main ingredient is basically the same here’s my thoughts:Pros:1. Probably safer for vaginal use since no sugar2. Makes a good amount of lube3. Doesn’t take as much powder to make a thick batch4. Washes off easier than jlubeCons:1. Clumps way more than jlube when mixing2. Breaks down into water faster than my jlube did3. Twice the price for half the amount4. Not less sticky than jlube5. Went though one bottle of this lube way faster since it thins to quickly when spraying with water for extending its useAll in all, I still prefer jlube. It’s harder to wash off it thins out longer with some sprayed on water, so you get more use out of a batch. It’s half the price for double the product, and it’s no more complicated than mixing jlube, and sometimes harder to get an even mix. I’d rather save the coin.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to. I am pretty clued up on all this stuff but some how powdered lube completely passed me by.This lube is INCREDIBLE. It’s so much cheaper than buying pre bottled, it only has one ingredient (Polyethylene Oxide), you can make it as thick or thin as you like and it takes no time at all to knock up a batch. The company have amazing customer care when I emailed them with a query too.I really can’t recommend it enough. Completely game changing.

Just the best personal lube for all those 'Intimate' times.Great with larger toys and other large implements!I was a J-Lube lover, it dealt with all that I used to throw at it, But x-lube is the best of J-Lube, with none of the drawbacks. It's non-toxic (frankly unlike J-Lube) and is purpose-designed for those intimate times when the extra slide is needed. Unlike J-Lube (which is a veterinarian based lubricant) I can use x-lube without worrying about stains and clean up.No more mixing hassles, just purchase a sports water bottle with a flip-up lid, fill it 3/4 full of normal tap water first and only then add two caps of x-lube to the water (unlike j-lube). Immediately replace the cap and lid to the bottle, shake for about 30 vigorously (to blend the mix) and after around 30 mins, shake again to mix the lube up and you can begin your fun times.So much easier and less messy than j-lube and not microwave, blender or other equipment needed. A total game-changer for me.One slight thing I have to mention whilst I've used x-lube:- if you find your mix dries out whilst you're using x-lube, just make your next batch up a slight bit thinner and the lubricating properties will last that much longer.

Nach Gusto eher eine als zwei ordentliche Verschlußkappen auf eine saubere!! Sport-/Trinkflasche à 500ml:- Wasser rein- Pulver drauf- mit Handballen verschließen, damit es schnell geht- sofort schütteln- dann erst Flasche zudrehen- 10 Minuten warten- schütteln,- nochmal warten, schüttel, tut alles nicht weh - easy.Wir machen uns davon einfach direkt mehr, zum Nachfüllen, falls mal wieder einer drin schwimmen will. Hält sich doch so gut.Und probiers einfach auch mal aus/alles Kopfsache: lass das Fett weg. Es rimmt sich auch besser. Genial, das Gefühl!

Forget J lube, and the blenders, and hours of trying different mixing methods. X lube is so simple to mix and to use, and you never go wrong.X lube mixes so easily, first time around, with no lumps. And it feels great on the skin.
