Beautiful design and quality!
I purchased this a while back for my dad, but had to come back to write a review. This is a VERY nice gift to give to someone who is or once was in the military. It was a lot smaller than I expected (which the measurements I'm sure were probably noted and no, I didn't read, so my fault there), but the design and quality quickly took my focus away. My dad is a VERY difficult man to get gifts for. If he likes or wants something, he gets it for himself, which makes it hard for anyone to know what to get him for his birthday, etc. He openly told me though that this was the first gift in a long time, if ever, that he both needed and wanted. So, it's now very special to me as well. Thank you!

Brillant
This Zippo is one that should never be fired up. It is a marvelous work of art and pays tribute to our military. I collect Zippos because I have nothing better to do. I use a Bic when I rarely smoke. To use this one and get it dirty and possibly scrached should be a crime. This masterpiece should be kept in it's box and locked in an air tight safe. That's what I do with my Zippo collection. Get yourself a Bic or a cheap Zippo for smoking if you have to. I don't recommend using even a cheap Zippo for smoking, as cheap would not be a way to describe any Zippo, but if you have to, go ahead. I recommend this beautiful Zippo. Buy it, you will love the weight of it in your hand and the superb attention to detail.

Who doesn't like a Zippo?
Must have two dozen or more Zippos. Some old. Some plain. And some unique styles, like this one. The "Gladiator" helmet with the thin blue line? Classic in the making. Shucks, I might never even put fluid in it, but ya never know. Zippo lighters are famous for their reliability and ability to provide a good flame. And if I get a belt attached carrying case for my lighters, rather than carrying one in my pocket, I'll use this one too. Any Zippo is a good one.

It’s a Zippo
If you are used to Zippos this one is not different. If you’re not used to them. Get ready to put fluid in them all the time and just when you need it it is out of fluid. Other than that I still love them. Durable and great. I love my Zippos.

looks really cool, but..
the base zippo seems to be all scratched up, not brushed where the scratching looks even but all randomly like its just wear and tear. i dont know if it was the design of it or what but it looks kind of "ehh" and the preview looks like its either a matte polish or something of that nature, which i would have prefered.i really like the design, especially since im in the army, and while obvously not a super duper highly detailed commissioned piece of art, it looks really nice. in fact, i think the hand drawn, home made look has more of a charm than a precisely rendered, serious looking one. the only thing i have against it is that im pretty sure its plastic. i was hoping it to be metal, or atleast metal plated, so it could be welded on because i seem to have bad luck with elements glued on to zippos. if its any consolation though, the glue job looks and feels more high quality than regular zippos.all in all, a good purchase for $20-somthing

For my hero
I purchased this as a gift for my son that is currently in military school and will be going into the military afterwards. He is my hero and this lighter casing was perfect for him.

Not a sticker!!!!!!!!
Gave this to our son for Xmas. Ge is a war history buff. He absolutely lives it. The fact it is engraved and not a sticker was the biggest reason I got it

Can't go wrong with a zippo
You can't go wrong with a zippo lighter in the first place. My husband is a deputy and he proudly shows off his lighter. Great value, great gift and excellent craftsmanship.
