but it wasn't very comfortable for him
A bit tight for my 9 year old..I had to shift the stays to the bottom of his calf. That worked, but it wasn't very comfortable for him.

Perfect problem solver
My daughter is 15 and a goalie. She requested these (and in 3 other colors) to help keep her shin guards in place. As a goalie, she can't easily reach into her socks with her big and cumbersome gloves on to adjust her guards. She plays on three travel teams as well as her high school so to say these get a lot of use is an understatement. They have held up well over time although I have never tried to wash them.Others noted that the stays were too small. We have not experienced that at all. She is not petite at all and still no complaints about cutting into her legs.

Don’t waste your money small and the package says $9.00
These although they look cool are too small to fit around your shin guard also printed on the tag $9.00 but they listed on Amazon for $12.00-16.00. Don’t waste your money

Just what I needed. It takes pressure off my Achilles as I used to use electrical tape to keep my shinguards up.

Work like a charm!
Daughter loves these! They go over her socks to hold the shin guard in place and make removing the guards easy after a game.
