Gorgeous detail, vintage colored throughout, no chips or faded coloring that would make it look cheap. You have to install the screws pretty exactly but they do include a little slip of paper you can drill through right on the wall (which we noted AFTERWARDS, of course!).This thing is pretty large and fairly heavy, it fits our decor perfectly but it might be a bit much for others. At first it seemed like it wouldn't settle evenly on the screws, but it seems to have settled into them now and is very solid and sturdy. It comes with drywall anchors and screws, and you'll want the anchors. Holds a large roll. I read another review that said it didn't come with a roller for the middle, so I purchased a spare, but mine had one so now I have a backup.

My sister bought one of these we loved it so much we wanted one we bought one love it if you install it correctly which means hanging it on the screw and then actually applying construction adhesive behind it. It stays quite nicely where are you put it

We have an “old world nautical” theme for our half bath that needed just a little more pizazz. This is a fun addition that will show off our theme very well.I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a spring rod to hold the toilet power. I mean c’mon! Dontcha think it should come with one?? Taking off two stars because I had to run around and find one in just the right color.My husband installed it and said it wasn’t difficult. TP spins nicely, a wider roll will hide the rod better but doesn’t bother me if a little shows. If you’re sitting on the bowl you’re probably on your phone anyway and you won’t even notice.Love the look, hate the no rod thing.

I call this guy my Kraken. The patina color goes awesome with our Fleur de Sel SH paint.

This item was rated on 3 criteria: Softness - (huh?) is a toilet paper holder supposed to be 'soft', Easy To Install - very easy and seems to hold up under use, and Sturdiness - seems sturdy enough. This is a whimsical and fun bit of art for the bathroom. If I had a critique I would say that the piece is for large rolls of toilet paper but is very wide where the paper holder connects on each side so that the holder is visible even with extra-large rolls on it. That still doesn't deter the fact that I get great comments about it and am glad I bought it.

I have a house set up like a beach/lake house.. so this was a must! Definitely strong and durable.. I mean you're just pulling toilet paper off, right? Should come with a lifetime warranty lol, but yes it works like it's supposed to and even holds larger rolls just fine.
