I bought this as a birthday present for my 13 year old son. We couldn't get him out of the pool all weekend! He loved how fast the boat would go. He could stand outside the pool and race it all the way across so it has a very good range and super-fast turns. He especially loved to back the boat up in front of me then kick it into gear spraying water in my face lol. I think this was his favorite gift.

Great beginner boat!
Pretty good little boat. I gave this to my 10yr old son. He drives the heck out of it! It's pretty fast and easily flips itself correctly when overturned. Just make sure you leave the top off it after each use so it can air dry completely. And only plan about 10-12 minutes of high speed use per battery charge. It's held up well for several months of heavy use.
