Seems legit
Love it! Granted I'm not happy about the mounts. They don't really feel secure for me. Luckily enough I have a big roof rack next to it. I will be using some straps and make sure she stays out. Now 8ft 1/3 is the length of it all. The inside is about 7 1/2. I can't hang a 7x5 tarp in between the legs and it fits just right. For the $$ it seems worth it. I put it together today with 10-15 mph winds held up good just have to tie down. The fabric seems legit. I will have to update my review in a yr or so. Other then that fits my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee just fine. Minor adjustments for the ride but I'll set it back for camping. The only thing that sucks is if it rains you get a big puddle in the middle. So maybe have a long stick with a rag on top to help not get the puddle in the middle. I'd rather have two little puddles at each front corner. Then a huge one in the middle. Wish there was something for a middle support that came with. Maybe a cross bar you bolt in between the side bars.

Good Product, Good Value
Couple inconsistencies in the nylon fabric but that's cosmetic. Hardware and structure are rudimentary but functional. Fit and finish are livable but not the best, however it works and likely never cause any issues long term. I wouldn't trust this structure in moderate winds or heavy rains. Wish the alumn rail that is used for mounting was anodized blk, it really stands out when seen from the back. Maybe I'm being picky, but I think aesthetics are important when mounting equipment to your vehicle. Do I recommend? For those looking for an occasionally used awning and when a user is careful in setup and has no intentions of leaving out in inclement weather. With that said, the value; product vs expense it's actually a good value.

Handy awning
I liked ease of opening/closing, setting up. My item had a small pin hole that was easy to detect in the sunlight. When I asked company about it...was just referred to google a mending glue for patching fabric awnings. I also would like to know if there are accessories I can get for it...such as front wind breaks...and something like “awnbrella” supports—haven’t heard yet if those types of things are available.
