A must have for seniors with Alzheimer’s/dementia
Yes, get it. I have two different ones. I have placed them in prominent positions so my mom with Alzheimer’s can easily determine the date and day of the week. One is in her bed room on a table she can view easily from her bed or while getting dressed. The other I have out in the living room on the TV stand. This is helpful during sundowning when she will repeatedly ask the day of the week. I remind her that the “calendar clock” is right in front and to check it out. It really has saved me from losing my mind with the repeated day of the week question because of its prominent position in the living room. I even made a laminated sign with up arrows saying “day of the week calendar”, which I taped on the table hanging off. For me it helps guide her to check on her own. I haven’t used the alarm functionality. I like the large numbers and letter. I also appreciate the dimming function. I would recommend multiple clock calendars to place in different rooms. They are very helpful in my opinion.

Great clock
this works great for anyone especially those with cognitive decline. Is easy to put together. I’ve bought two of these for myself and two additional as gifts.

Woken Up By Bright Light Every Morning!
I was very surprised there wasn’t a way to stop the brightness at the crack of dawn! Who thought that was a good idea?? The first morning after set-up I was woken up by the bright light. Made some changes in hopes it would take care of the problem. Nope! Was woken up again. Tried one more time, thinking there HAD to be a way to change this ridiculous feature! Well, there is NOT a way to keep it from doing it. I have been having to block the clock from view at night, which defeats the purpose of having a clock! I don’t even use it at all any more. I’m hoping I still have all the packing material. I will be returning it!!

Great for the elderly!!
If you having trouble with older parents not being able to remember the day or date, this is great. My mother is so happy with this clock. And she can see it very well day and night.
