Tropical Fruit Box (5lbs.)

I bought this as a gift for someone else. The box she received had nearly been destroyed (USPS fault). She pretty much knew whatever was inside was going to be damaged and it was. There wasnt much packing inside to protect the fruit. With that said, it was very unfortunate because the selection was a little over 5lbs of perfectly ripened and what appeared to be once beautiful fruits. There were several different types of fruits in the selection, I believe 5 or 6 different kinds. I contacted the seller and described the state in which my recipient received the product and received a very quick, polite and apologetic response as well as a solution which I felt was appropriate. Product, I'll give that 5 stars as I was told it was wonderful fruit minus the damage of shipping which unfortunately render much of the product inedible, Customer Service I would also give 5 stars, however the packaging just wasnt enough and the shipping destroyed it so I gave it 3 stars.

Very disappointing. The ad shows a wonderful selection of tropical fruits, but my mother received a coconut and a cellophane-wrapped grocery store pkg of 5 guava from Mexico (2 of which were overripe and had to thrown away) and 2 more pieces of fruit ... for $62.90?Yes, it is farmer's choice (Farmer Bob ... aka Jennifer Christian), but come on ... there is no way what my mother received is equivalent to their advertised pic. I wish i could show the pic of what my mother received ... I am embarrassed.I won't order from this place again.

I received a well over 5lb assorted fruit box, once opened I was pleasantly suprised by the delicious fully ripe fruit. Delivery took no time at all, I will definatly purchase more!!!

Not happy with this

I guess i blame myself. I was expecting a box of fruit for $120. Its hard to sum up. I can tell you that if i had realized that 5 lbs amounted to 2 pieces of fruit, i would not have ordered this. $60 per soursop. 2 pieces. Again….I blame myself.I definitely do not recommend this. Don’t be an idiot like me. There are better ways. Surely.

For the price I paid, this package was not worth it. The fruit arrived on time and in good shape, and was good quality, but I got all common fruits that I could have bought at the grocery store for less money.I would have liked a greater assortment and some more things that I have never tried before.If you've had pomegranate, kiwi, papaya, and mango this package may come as a disappointment considering that's all I got in my box plus one mamey sapote.

It arrived on schedule and in good shape but it was a bigdisappointment, There was one papaya , one mango, twopomegranates, and two, as yet unidentified, green fruits that area hard as rocks. Hardly an exotic mixture, and why 2 pomegranates?My wife commented that she could have done better at the grocery store.Update: After a few days we decided to cut open the unidentified fruit. They were not anywhere near being ripe, hard and unformed through out.

The assorted box and the mangosteen box were purchased for my mother as a birthday gift. Weeks pass by with only one box delivered and no communication on when the 2nd box would arrive. After a month of waiting patiently, I asked for them to cancel the 2nd box. The fruit is sub par so you’re better off at your local grocery store. The price doesn’t match the quality of the fruit.
