The last book to a great series
In this book which is taken from a movie and has no Herge input Tintin goes once more on a quest to find the root cause of all evils. You can see Tintin attire matching what it was in the Picaros story. All the exiting elements of Tintin are present in this book, from brush with death to technology from future years. My children and I have already read this book over 4 times.

Tintin, but not quite the Herge version...
"Tintin and the Lake of Sharks" is apparently a promotional item associated with an animated Tintin movie released in the early 1970's. It manages to include most of the recurring characters from the Tintin series, such as Tintin, Tintin's dog Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, the Thompson twins, and Tintin's most notorious enemy. The story concerns the theft of famous pieces of art, a visit to a remote lake in Syldavia, two clever and plucky local children, a network of spies, a submarine, and of course a mystery that must be solved by Tintin and his friends. The format is very much like other Tintin graphic novels and the artwork is consistent with Herge's original work, although Tintin seems to be much more expressive than usual in this presentation. Perhaps the most noticeable difference is the plot, which isn't awful, but also plainly isn't by Herge. It tries a little too hard to pack lots of action into a rather under-developed narrative in which most of the characters don't seem to have much to do."Tintin and the Lake of Sharks" gets a qualified recommendation for Tintin fans who have already read everything else. The contents of this graphic novel will seem at least familiar and perhaps worth the look.

Excellent young boy's adventure book
Tintin is a must for young boys. A relatable hero. The book arrived quickly and the quality of the binding, paper and print is really top drawer.
