I really needed a new tape dispenser. I'm packing up 2 locations & WOW! my old dispenser was not working well. It didn't have a blade cover (never did), the tape kept getting stuck on the clear flap/guide (eeerrr), the metal tape guide didn't lift so I couldn't easily reposition the roll (the new one has a hinge on it!) & the cutting teeth on the old one looked like they had been stolen off an old bulldog (it had me barking!). Cutting packing tape had become a chore BUT .... I am happy to say, the new dispenser has a cover for the cutting blade/teeth (the teeth are nice & pointy, too. I'm not worrying as much about nicking my fingers or hands. This whole dispenser is solid, not wonky like other ones that I'd paid just as much (if not more) for. Very pleased with this purchase. Quality & easy-to-use is what it's all about.

I have had one of these for many years and for the life of my I could not find it during Christmas (to seal boxes). So, I went on and bought it again at an even lower price. I was thinking this would be lower quality but it is the same device even with a few metal parts (plastic cutters are not as good). And yes, 8 days after it arrived my "lost" on turned up... exactly where it was supposed to be but under a pan.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I do a good amount of Ebay and I'm only writing this review because I'm now bleeding from this pc of crap. It takes longer to re insert tape roll, untangle etc. than to tape a box. I shoulda just..... buy once, cry once... and gotten a more expensive one. One that wont keep slipping of the tape roll, slide tape out when trying to apply it, making it difficult to untangle, then the roll folls off, I threw it up against the concrete after it drew blood. DO NOT BUY THIS one.

It's not as bad as all the bad reviews say. The tape gun it well built and works great. The tape roll is kindof loose on it and sometimes falls off but it is an easy fix. Just put a couple of layers of tape on the groves that hold the tape rolls and you will never have a problem again.

Solidly built, but tape roll easily falls off. Seems like a pretty nice tape gun except for that one issue. I can literally tip it sideways and give it a light shake and the tape will fall of in my hand. Very frustrating if you use it a lot. Going to be returning it.
