Barrister and Mann Bay Rum Aftershave

This is the second B&M aftershave and soap I have tried and compared to of all my other shave soaps and a aftershaves B&M reign supreme. The scent is very pleasing and last a little longer than most without being overpowering. The slickness of the soaps are awesome and the aftershaves are well scented and leave my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Stick with artisan products as they have less chemicles and are better for your skin.

I got the B&M Lavanille shaving soap a while back along with several other soaps to try out. Off the bat, I loved the shaving performance of the soap, but I wasn’t sure about the scent at first, which is definitely a manly, earthy scent, which is probably not for everyone. It grew on me (my wife as well) and is now my favorite go to soap. This aftershave really complements the soap nicely. I’d give the soap a shot first, and if you like that, you’ll like the aftershave as well.

Bought it because online reviews indicated it was as close to the old time Old Spice fragrance as was available today. Does have a strong and lasting presence but not sure on the value equation. Not exactly as I remember the original Old Spice of my youth but it does the after shave job well anyway.

If you are looking for an aftershave that smells very similar to the original Shulton Old Spice then you have found the right product. It is not EXACTLY the same but that is fine because unlike the original thing this does not burn like the fires of Mordor when you apply it right after shaving. The projection is noticeable but not overwhelming and I find that it calms down a bit after an hour or so (though that can obviously vary significantly from person to person). Great product and I will definitely buy another bottle when this one is gone.

Excellent Scent, Packaging Needs Improvement The Seville aftershave splash itself smells outstanding. Unfortunately, the bottle arrived with a cracked cap and roughly half the product had leaked during transit. For a premium artisan product, the cap and sealing mechanism need to be more robust. The fragrance quality is excellent, but packaging durability should match the standard of the formulation. Overall, a good product compromised by avoidable packaging weakness.

The "spice" scent lasted for about 10 seconds. Afterwards, you're stuck smelling like baby powder. Im not sure if I was expecting a take on Old Spice or what, but this misses the mark then flicks your nose for hoping your 30 bucks weren't wasted.

Felt compelled to purchase this after using B&M Seville Shave Soap. The fragrance is awesome! This aftershave splash in the Seville line is no different. Assuming you're thinking about purchasing this after using the Seville soap, DO IT! Also get the balm as well to layer the fragrance and increase the longevity.

One of my favorite aftershave scents. I’ve tried a lot- this I keep going back too. Settles in to a nice warm scent that gets me compliments. Skin feels smooth too. Love It!

Mio marito cercava il dopobarba Old Spice, quello col veliero, fuori produzione. Mi dice che ha la stessa profumazione di un tempo anche se di altro produttore che lo ha "ricreato".

Trovo che la fragranza sia piuttosto diversa da come me la aspettavo dalle descrizioni del prodotto. Il muschio prevale. Non avrei detto. Una volta stemperato la mousse diviene più elegante tuttavia.

Si tratta di un ottimo doppbarba che consiglio perchè ha una profumazione complessa, vintage, e che probabilmente vi piacerá. Come le vecchie fragranze di una volta non è facile distinguere le note olfattive poichè ne sono state utilizzate tante. I profumi di oggi, infatti, si limitano a poche note e ben definite, questo invece è un miscuglio ben armonizzato in grado di evolversi nel tempo… è una profumazione che cambia col passare del tempo, e proprio per questo tutt’altro che noiosa
