This is a fantastic stand. You get the stand with plenty of articulation from the 3 joints. An Allen wrench isn’t included to adjust the tension of the pivot points. I am using the stand to hold my 2017 iPad Pro 9.7”. Since the new Mac Catalina OS update having the stand next to my monitor makes using the sidecar feature very seamless and easy. I’ve mounted the wall mount in a location where I can plug it into the charger at night and then use it as a controller for all my HomeKit items. The price of this y it is more than reasonable for the quality. Add in the fact that you can remove it from the wall mount and use it as a desk stand is great. Only gripe is that the cradle isn’t deep enough to work well with my folio case. I just take the iPad out of the case and it looks cleaner anyway so I’m not concerned with it but do know that if you are using this with an iPad 9.7 and larger the case will get in the way and you will probably have to remove it to have the tablet secured in the mount. That may be a significant down side for some. Id give a 4.5 star rating because of that but as we know a half star isn’t an option. But is still round up to 5 instead of down to 4 because if the quality of the materials used, design and the cost.

Like I said, my problem with this product is when it comes to tightening it down. For certain angles, the weight of the table is going to require you to tighten down the joints pretty strongly. Especially arm-out where the weight is mostly on the joints.Tightening it down, unlike a similar one I've purchase - it broke the threading. So it can't be tightening on that joint. This will work ok for me since I can leave it on one mount where it is sideways, and the joint isn't used to hold weight, but beware - the threads on this are plastic, and if you over-tighten they will crack and break.IF you're going to mount this on a wall/desk, then I recommend purchasing one a little sturdier - however, this one IS lighter and a bit smaller than most, and would be great for desk work - basically how it is shown used in photos.Mounting clip is above average and small form - which is much better than many.

I have an old iPad that really is too slow for daily use, so I decided to wipe it and only use it for my recipes in the kitchen. I was planning on hanging it from the wall because I don't have a lot of counter space, but was pleasantly surprised at how versatile this stand is. I ended up sticking it in a corner and it hardly takes up any space. I used the included hex wrench to tighten/adjust the hinges, and now it is holding my iPad perfectly (and it's a super old one, so it's heavy!). There are several places you can tighten, so if yours is flopping down, figure out where it's bending and tighten there.

Worked great for about 3 months and then the support attachment became unstable. We are still using it but have to put a box or book under the tablet to keep it from swiveling. I’m probably going to look for something else.

I was really excited about possibilities. It has a piece that can be stationary or take it with you. It works fine for my iPhone 7 but my large iPad does not fit and really bummed by that

It's substantial and weighty. Fits my iPad easily. There are multiple viewing options. Haven't mounted it because I live in a rental but all the accessories are inside the packaging. True to form and I love it.

This is a handy device, however it is not what is advertised and it flops over quite easily. It does not extend as far as it advertises and if you have any kind of durable case on your device you have to take it off. Mounting it ... I can’t see how that would be helpful at all. I bought 2 and I regret that.

This is pretty awesome!!! The material seems sturdy and like it will last quite a while!!! I got this specifically for my kitchen and it’s pretty awesome!!!

Using it in my kitchen to support a 10" tablet. Very stable when deployed on a flat surface. Pads on the bottom help prevent slipping.Not attached the "holster" thing yet as need to identify a sensible spot.

Better than expected looks good works well with tablet really pleased would definitely use again 💯👍

Being used for an ipad in a restaurant. Can fix on to the wall but bring used on the desk at the moment it feels secure and I knoe the ipad won't fall out but the frame doesn't stay in position and the weight of the ipad pulls in down so constantly having to manoeuvre it

This stand holds either of my tablets really well (Amazon Fire HD 8 and a Lenovo Tab E 10). Do make sure you tighten the angle joints - out of the box it doesn't hold the tablet in position but you just need to pop off the rubber cover on the edge of the joints and use the allen key provided to tighten them up and then it works fine.The real genus is the wall bracket that you can slide the stand in or out of, my only issue is that the angles you can put it into are a little limited, not massively and I did find a way to get the tablet into the position I wanted but with a little bit of a compromise - hence only 4 stars.
