How To Apply The Adhesive Heat Patch? After peel off the paper from the back of the heat pad, stick it to the clothing, not the skin. Apply to the outside of the clothing if possible. If you only wear a shirt and you don't want the heat pad to show, you may stick it to the inside of the shirt so the sticky side is away from your skin, with the woven side facing and touching your skin. This ensures a space between the heat pad and your skin. This space is critical: it allows the heat to escape and prevents any potential burn. How Many Heat Pads Can I use? You may use multiple heat pads on different parts of your body. For example, you can use two on each side of your lower back; or use one for each arm. Please make sure you drink plenty of water to avoid potential dehydration. The advantage of using two small heat pads vs. one extra large one is that you can use them at two totally different locations or right next to each other. Warning Regarding Possible Burn.
