I couldn't wait to get this book. I had gone through a Soul Retrieval with a Shaman and wanted some good guidance for how to best practice self-care afterwards. Sandra Ingerman is such an amazing and wise Shaman. I find I can't read it all at once, but do best reading a few pages and then letting it digest. I am grateful for her guidance.I like that there are things to think about at the end of the chapter and that she shares her personal experiences and challenges working with her guides, such as Isis.I've only had the book a few weeks and have a lot more reading to do. I will update this post if I change my mind.

I found her book on Soul Retrieval to be very helpful and informative. I have not read this one yet, but I expect it to be as helpful and informative as her other books.

Great book for someone just beginning to learn or study Shamanism. It was an easy to read and easy to understand book. Enjoyed it very much.

Doesn't preach or nag and has some very interesting ideas.

Very easy to understand and once I started reading I couldn't stop. No having much knowledge about shamanism this book explained it well. I did enjoy the reading.

This is an amazing book and brutally honest in its wisdom sharing. It's the way more people should talk in my opinion; intimate, honest and hugely inspiring.
